CMV UnMatched Card: Ep. 21 (#181)

We kickoff another emphatic season of UnMatched with two newcomers looking to fight their way up the card and take advantage of this opportunity as the masked phenomenon The Green Hornet takes one of the hottest talents to have flown under the radar in the industry today, Michael Pratt. Only one man can stand tall in thier CMV debut, but who will kickoff the season with a win in a battle between the fresh talent.

They called for it, the moment their record setting reign ended they called for their "Rematch Clause of Despair" and tonight they will get it as the former, joint longest reigning Tag Team Champions in CMV History, The Bringers of Despair, take on the new faces of the Tag Team Division for a chance to become Five Time CMV Tag Team Champions if they can get past The Gladiators.

Another one of CMV's Champions takes to the ring tonight as the newly crowned CMV Womens Intercontinental Champion clashes in the ring tonight with one of the newer faces in the Vixens Division, Bettey Meyers, she struggled at the end of last season but could really kickoff her season here with a win over the IC Champion, while Maverick on the other hand will look to pick up where she left off and push forward with her near perfect record.

On the first show of the season, Marko Punish welcomes home a CMV Veteran, all the way back from season 1. The Duo never faced, but tonight, on the first episode of the new season they will collide for the first time as these two veterans look to kick off the season with a boom.

Speaking of returns, a former CMV European Champion returns tonight with hopes to reignite his fuse by coming up against the only man he's managed to beat in his CMV career, Leo Cruz. However Leo will have other plans, with the belief being that it is now his time to move up the card he'll need to start off strong to attract some attention to his name.

Two rivals collide for the first time since their match from the upper echelon levels of brilliance at Quarantine almost two months ago. With both men just below the Title picture a win here is absolutely crucial to start the season off the right way.

In Tonights Co-Main Event, we see the Vixen who brought the Vixens Division to the forefront of the Industry take to action for the first time this season as Jade Dynamite will be looking to start off the same way she did last year in unstoppable fashion, however tonight stands a strong competitor stands in her way. For Samantha Steel, this is very much a make or break situation, she has cut through the midcard like a hot knife through butter and now she has the chance to rise to the Main Event picture, she just needs to win here tonight.

In Tonights Main Event, we see the two Champions of UnMatched Collide as Sunshine, coming off of his career defining moment, overcoming four men in the Co-Main Event of Contingency to become CMV World Champion, takes on Luther Thunder, who after a season of struggling, finally found his groove in the closing stages, and will be looking to continue it here tonight in the Main Event.
