The Genesis crowd is fired up as that opening pyro fills the stage with a beautiful mixture of lights. The camera pans around the arena, showing the excitement in the fans as the PA System lights up with...

Awww ladies and gentlemen here he comes, the man who many thought would be coming out here tonight WITHOUT the Alpha World Championship around his waist, BOB LUGER!

Luger explodes out on stage immediately throwing the title up in the air as his stands there for a moment, taking in the admiration given off by the crowd. He closes his eyes with a smile on his face, literally enjoying the moment before finally propping the title back up on his shoulder and heading down the ramp where he slaps the hands of a few lucky members of the CMV Universe. Really taking it slow, appreciating the fact that he has so many supportive fans who are happy to see him still holding the belt despite the large amount of doubt that he'd beat Bison at Regicide. He jumps up on the ring apron and wipes his boots off before entering the ring where he is then handed a microphone from the ring announcer.

Welp, I fought the beast.......and I conquered.....the beast!

He looks on with a white grin as he gets a mild pop from the crowd before continuing.

Bob Luger
Bison and I fought like hell for the chance to stand here tonight in front of all of you as the Alpha World Champion. And I...am the one who walked out victorious. He beat me down. Threw me around. And threatened my legacy. But in the end......it was the son of Lex Luger who prevailed.

He once again smiled, looking around at the thousands of Lugies supporting him.

Last night was full of action. It was truly a treat to the wrestling eye. We seen some of the best matches this company has to offer. Some great men walking out with their hands held high. With titles around their waists. And whether some of them want to admit it or not, it wouldn't be as special if it wasn't for all of you.

He started to point around.

YOU make it OUR goal in life to come out here in give it our all. Put our bodies on the line to provide you the best entertainment money can buy! So please, give yourselves a round of applause. All my Lugies. Clap your hands. Make some noise. You all deserve it!

The crowd indeed does as he says and erupts in cheers and claps.

Now I said from day one, that I am YOUR champion. I am the champion you all deserve. And tonight, is no different. I just got through with battle. But the next one is right around the corner. I've noticed....that Tim LaFave is gunning after this belt. I've noticed that Furious Frank is gunning after this belt. Hell I've noticed that the entire roster wants a piece of me. It's natural. I'm the target. And boy........oh boy do I love it. I LOVE the fact that I am the man to beat.

He looks at the glistening gold on his shoulder before staring back into the camera.

Tim and Frank. You both got rematch clauses I see. So this message is for the both of you. Tim......name a time and place........Frank.......name a time....and a place. Whether it's one on one. Triple threat. It doesn't matter. I will fight. I will defend. And I will conquer those who stand in my way. When I step in this ring, i'm not just fighting for my title. But for these people. For MY legacy. And that...that makes me a hard man to put down. Because I don't like letting people down. I won't, let people down.

He receives a pop for his passionate speech as he paces in the ring.

So the question on everybody's mind, who's next? Tim? Frank? Bison again? I don't care. Bring......it......on.

And with that, he lowers the microphone just as the PA System lights up with...

The sound of general manager, Dave Turner's, music hitting the PA system, creating a medium sized pop for the CMV Hall of Famer. Bob Luger adjusts the title on his shoulder, we all know that the champ has immense respect for Dave, as he claps for his boss, Turner walking out onto the stage where he positions himself front and center, acknowledging the fans and Luger's support.

Thank you, thank you all, and welcome to Thursday night Genesis! First and foremost, how about a round of applause for Bob Luger's title defense this past Sunday at Regicide!

The crowd shows their love for their champion with a thunderous ovation, Bob nearly blushing in the ring as Dave continues.

Turner
Indeed, it was quite a match and quite a victory. Congratulations, Bob, you earned that title and then became the first man to ever retain it. And now, you look on to the future, and I think that's what I, and the CMV universe, love about you the most; you don't boast and brag and live in the past. You pick yourself up, win or lose, and carry on. So, who will be your next challenger for the CMV Alpha World championship? Bison again?

That gets a slight pop.

Maybe Furious Frank?

A bit louder of a reaction.

Or . . . Tim LaFave?

That almost gets a louder ovation than Luger's round of applause.

Hmm, perhaps all three?

The joint nearly explodes with chants of "YES! YES! YES!"

Turner
That seems like a popular choice, but why stop at three challengers?

Bob has a confused look on his face as he leans on the top rope, staring up at Dave with an open mouth.

Turner
Here on Thursday night Genesis, we only give opportunities to those who deserve them, who earn them. I've said it before and I'll say it again; there aren't any handouts around these parts, it's just like I told Brett Angel when he first arrived here, he wasn't getting treated like a king for his past accomplishments. So, Furious Frank and Tim LaFave's rematch clauses? Consider them officially void.

Boos seep into the arena as that was clearly not a fan favorite choice on the behalf of the gm.

Bison getting another shot at the belt? No sir.

More boos.

So where does that leave you and your Alpha World title, Bob? I'll tell you where; at Cause & Effect in four week's time. You'll be headlining said pay-per-view, against one of eight men. You see, at that event, CMV will host it's very first ever Deadly Games tournament, where eight superstars will battle it out in single elimination style to reach you and that belt in the main event. What's so deadly about these games you ask? Well, the opening four first-round matches will be contested under either Anarchy Rulz or Falls Count Anywhere stipulations. Then, once we're at the semi-finals, it'll be all about making your opponent submit to advance. Finally, the last two superstars will collide in a two out of three falls contest, to see who truly above all others deserves to face you for that championship!

The audience goes wild for this historic announcement, Luger nodding his head and dawning a slight grin when he hears the news.

Luger's jaw is just about dropped to the canvas as out comes his arch Twitter rival of nearly a year, The Dream, Sam Valentine! It's madness in the arena as Dave and Sam shake hands atop the stage, Turner walking off to the back while Valentine and the Alpha World champion engage in an intense staredown, the show cutting to it's opening hype video . . .

Hot off the heels of Regicide and now closing in on Wild Card next Sunday, Thursday night Genesis will get rolling tonight with the main show debut of Josh Wolf, who's been putting on some stellar matches since his arrival last month but has been unable to secure himself a victory thus far. Could tonight be his night when he goes toe to toe with the demon-like luchadore, Great Akuma?



Coming off of his match of the night winning debut against Randy Borton at Regicide, where it took just about everything that The Milk Man had to keep him down for the three count, the begrudged, Brett Angel, will step into the Genesis ring for the first time to compete, as he looks to bounce back from his recent loss by taking down The Australian Daredevil, Jeremy Blake.



For the first time ever, we'll witness what is sure to be nothing less than a downright slaughter, as Furious Frank and Bison, two men who lost out on big opportunities at Regicide, collide here tonight in order to build up some steam heading into Cause & Effect and the Deadly Games tournament.



Much like his counterpart did after Point Break, El Jefe, has wasted no time in cashing-in his contractual rematch clause after losing the CMV Light Heavyweight title at Regicide. Can The Human Fish kick this game of hot-potato up a notch; or will Nikola Ivanovic assert his dominance once again and remain the champ?



Two teams gunning for a shot at the CMV World Tag Team titles will face-off here tonight, as the eccentric and often over-the-top pairing of The Family, will go up against the egomaniacal union of Zack Cage and a friend of Cole Savage's, Nick Blake.



Two more men announced for the Deadly Games tournament in four week's time at Cause & Effect will be going at it here tonight, when the brash and cocky, Jay Davis, steps up to the hype machine himself, Primetime Pierre Thompson.



Slightly miffed that they weren't included in the Deadly Games tournament at Cause & Effect, RISE, approached general manager, Dave Turner, earlier tonight, looking to change his mind on the matter. Instead, the CMV Hall of Famer has given them this main event match-up to prove themselves worthy of remaining on the Genesis brand, for if they are to lose, Turner has promised them repercussions.
