Trey Diamond made the decision to call out both The Thunder Circus and InFamous and tonight his repercussions begin as he takes on a former CMV International Champion in Morguan Jackson. Trey believes he can dismantle both factions piece by piece, suplex by suplex, and tonight he stands across the ring from the British born OG. But can he continue hi wave of momentum or has he bitten off more than he can chew.
Tonight we welcome back to CMV, a former European Championship Contender Osiris, following a verbal confrontation with Kurse this past week, and tonight he teams with the former two time CMV World Champion D'Angelo St. Daniels to take on Kurse while Friends of Cole Savage continue to throw opponents DSD's way and tonight will be no different as Kurse is joined by Kurasuke to create somewhat of an unorthodox teaming.
Strongman Bull returned to CMV in losing fashion a few weeks ago, and tonight the muscle of The Thunder Circus has a chance to redeem himself as he takes on Adrian Axe in some singles action in a match where Bull needs the win, not only for his momentum but to ensure the approval of the circus.
Number One Contenders Match
"The Voice of Power" Arthur Blackwell has spoken, declaring his lack of faith towards both Parker and Chris Adams, both picking up losses after winning their belts, the two will fight in the main event to determine who's belt is on the line next week. But first, we must determine who their contender is. Who could be the man to potentially replace them at Takeover. Firstly we have Leo Cruz, who has the potential chance here to get one step closer to becoming a grand slam champion, and with his newly formed team alongside Marcus Akane, that dream is closer than ever. Then we have the season one veteran, the former CMV Tag Team Champion Booker Phillips looking to win his first singles belt. While lastly, we have Jon Richards, a man who's seemingly been favored by the guys up top and has certainly had the easier path so far in his CMV career, he could cap off the first month of the new year with a belt with a win here tonight.
CMV Tag Team Championship Match
The New Orient Express called for their immediate rematch clause that leaves the entire tag team Division on the edge of their seats. After The Wanderers beat The Cowboys last week, one of two things can happen tonight. Should The Cowboys From Hell retain, they will face The Wanderers at Takeover in three weeks. However if The New Orient Express win their rematch clause, a Number One Contenders Match will be held between The Wanderers and another tag team yet to be determined.
In tonights Co-Main Event, Solomon Glock looks to not only pick up some much needed momentum on his road to becoming a two time European Champion, and with the chance of his opponent completely changing should Parker be the one to defend next week, he'll need to be as prepared as he can be. In steps Ethan Kashima a newcomer who's done fairly well in the three or so months he's been here and a win over Solomon Glock would certainly be his biggest win to date.
A fork has been completely thrown into the title picture tonight, with the anonymous General Manager displeased with both Adams and Parker following their losses last week in their first matches as Champion, The Voice of Authority Arthur Black has announced that whoever loses this match tonight will be putting their belt on the line next week against whoever has won the triple threat earlier on in the night, completely changing the title matches at takeover, because remember without a successful defense, there is no rematch clause.
