Mass Effect Andromeda

I've read a lot of negative shit about it that I've decided wait until the game is hopefully patched and most the dlc is out before I purchase it. I've been a big nerd for the series since the first game and loved Mass Effect 2. So for those who have the game already, spill the beans on what's good and what's bad. I already know the facial animations look awful and glitchy as hell.

I dont have the game, but from Reddits constant sharing of instances of gameplay, there seems to be a lot of weird character animations. Ive seen multiple accounts of the sprinting animation appear as if the char is squating. Doing those tire excercises that the NFL players do. Additionally, faces during cutscenes look real akward. I think theyre more aesthetic bugs versus crippling game play bugs but dont quote ne.

Its gonna be hard to patch those animations, though. Most of the tine you would have to overhaul a lot of stuff to fix them. And while Mass Effect has never had solid animation, you can certainly tell the difference.

Andromeda attempted to make facial expressions and movement more fluid, but I would have preferred the stiffer animations of the Trilogy.

From the 3 hour I played during the trial of story and online the game is amazing. Though I'm a bit biased as Mass Effect is my all time favorite game series, the animations have never been stellar in any of the games, but the graphics in Andromeda are beautiful.

This is one of those games you should just straight up ignore the critics on, all their worried about is all the SJW BULLSHIT, one or two of the HUNDRED's of people who worked on the game personal believes, a few animation problems which are legit barely even noticeable and the rest are just butthurt dumb asses who haven't gotten over ME3's ending despite it being fixed with free DLC. The graphics & gameplay are amazing (JETPACKS!!!), its got a solid story, the controls are loose and feel great, has a frantic and fun co-op multiplayer, an app that actually works, space boobies. You're definately missing out if you're not planning on getting this.
