I agree with you there. They need to better integrate it into Raw. It feels like when they had that NXT match on Raw way way back and it felt like a cheap advertisement for the show, not quite on par and out of place.

It's a positive sign having the crowd start to react to guys like Gallagher and Tozawa, the props/call and response is working well for them. Even TJP is starting to get a heel reaction. But then you have guys like Gran Metalik/Lince Dorado/The Bollywood Boyz where it's just like, "....okay, literal jobbers." Not to say they aren't talented in their own right, but you are on the money with the sideshow description.
