The Start of a New Era (CMV.com Exclusive!)
As you can see, the new era here in CMV isn't waiting around to be ushered in. Following his hard-fought Elimination Chamber loss to Tim LaFave in the main event of Exodus, the season three finale of CMV, Ryan Kent had to have been beating himself up over being SO close to the top of the mountain again but coming up short. As he made his way backstage, his Light Heavyweight championship draped over his shoulder, lying in wait was none other than the Australian Daredevil, Jeremy Blake. The Firestarter may have failed to become the very first ever Alpha World champion, but there's no denying that he's the greatest Light Heavyweight title holder in this companies history, perhaps even THE greatest champ period with a record-setting eight title defenses. But being the inaugural Anarchy champion and the second-longest reigning International champion has put a bit of a chip on Blake's shoulder, rightfully so, he challenged Ryan Kent to put his belt on the line versus him on the season four premiere of Thursday night Genesis, to which Kent gladly accepted!
State of the International championship
SPEAKING of the International championship . . . Some bad news has come out of Exodus; in successfully defending his CMV International title against Bryan Novak at the pay-per-view event, Azreal suffered a torn quad in his right leg, for the laymen; NOT GOOD! The BOA has been put on mandatory medical leave as of now, prepping for immediate surgery, and will be out indefinitely. Due to this unfortunate series of events, Dave Turner has decided to vacate the International championship, promising Big Azzhole a rematch for it upon his, hopefully, hasty return. But the Genesis general manager has announced that a brand spanking new champion will be crowned on the season four premiere of his beloved show, via a mini tournament that will culminate in a triple threat in the main event for the belt! A few names that were managed to be uncovered in the brackets were Zack Cage, Kenji Murakami and Randy Borton!!!
Johnny Sampson and Dave Turner are most certainly trying to outdo one another in their respective season premieres it seems, as to counter Turner's International title tournament, Big Johnny made it official that Billy Weaver will challenge Chris Andrews for his CMV Anarchy championship in the main event of the next Monday night Fusion! With The Bloody Brit's Elimination Chamber win at Exodus, he's got a date with JustIN Sane for the Undisputed championship in his near future, not to mention that his arch-rival, Parker, is back to make his life a living hell once again. Will the foul-mouthed, lager-chugging, ass-kicker be able to stay focused long enough to fend of everyone's favorite cousin? And not only that, but Sampson has also confirmed that Jade Divine, fresh off of her amazing championship retention inside of the devil's playground, will be putting her prized possession up for grabs against the winner of a six-Vixen over-the-top battle royal earlier on in the night!
