Savage Sours Sane's Selebration

Cole Savage's theme cuts through Sane's, prematurely ending the champ's victory celebration, and all eyes turn to the stage as the man himself steps through a portal to get onto the stage.

A defeated Nick Blake stumbles at Savage's feet, thinking his manager is out here for him, but Savage doesn't even look at Blake when he says, "We'll talk about this later."

Savage now looks at Sane who stands in the ring with the world championship draped on his shoulder, and a smirk in his face.

I almost don't want to say anything, Justin. There's this kind of joy I get from watching a man in a downward spiral claim to be in control. But after you're no doubt feeling high and mighty, I'm going to take it upon myself to knock you down a peg or two. Not to mention that I didn't make it to where I am by keeping my mouth shut. Oh no, most certainly not.

Here's the thing, Justin: once again they're sending you into a battle that you can't. Here you are about to lead the most dysfunctional tram imaginable into war armed with sticks and stones against an army brandishing guns and grenades.

Sane, when you lose that match, the headlines the next morning will read that it was all because the World Champion wasn't good enough to inspire those beneath him and simply wasn't good enough to pick up their slack when it mattered. And IF you win...IF that happens, it'll be because everybody else came through.

You know why I'm the only one bothering to tell you about this conspiracy? Because I'm the only one who gives a damn whether you succeed or fail. Newsflash, buddy: most people here are tired of you. Of the domination. Of the way you've run roughshod through just about everyone put in front of you and how you show no signs of slowing down. What that means is that everyone is hoping to see you fail, so everyone stands by and watches as your career is sabotaged.

It's just as I said last time, Justin. They've realized it'll be easier said than done getting that title off of you, so they've resorted to a new plan: discrediting you every chance they can take. The only thing that's changed since then is how much more aggressive they've gotten.

Savage shakes his head as though he were genuinely disappointed in Sane, before turning and disappearing through a portal.
