After having not seen Jay Davis for nearly a month following the betrayal of his protege, Jaquan Shay, who kicked him harshly out of Takeover, the wily egomaniac reappeared on our screens this past Monday night, approaching another returning superstar in Adam Adams, who had just defeated JS earlier in the evening. Coincidence? It's hard to imagine so, as it looked like Davis was trying to strike up some sort of alliance with Double A, maybe looking for some backup in case Takeover came looking for him. But his approach seemingly failed, as Adams simply shook his head and walked off, leaving Jay to look the part of a fool. What's his play here; attempting to rally a team to take it to his former comrades, or just looking out for himself as always? Only time will tell, but for now, Davis would do best to lay low.

Coming off of his victory over Sean Kent on this past Monday night Fusion, Xander Slate's victory celebration was cut short when the CMV Undisputed champion, JustIN Sane, would repay Slate for his intrusion during his own match last week. Tensions have been high between the two veterans for weeks now after The OG Dirty Heel claimed himself as the rightful number one contender to the World title, and has been making The Unpredictable One's life a living hell because of it. Literal hell. But there's nobody better at mind games on this Earth than Sane himself, who taunted Slate from the top of the ramp, edging him on until the two finally came to blows atop the stage. Unleashing their anger on one another, getting some solid hits in from both men, it took a squad of referees and security guards to finally separate the two and calm things down. The question of if The Show will be getting his wanted title shot is still unknown, but the bad blood is set to burst soon between these foes, and a clash- whether inside of the ring or out of it, is emanate . . .
