Beating the Virus

The arena instantly sends a wave of boos towards the stage as the FORMER United States Champion comes walking out with his personal interviewer, James, by his side. Not sporting his usual smile of course considering how bad of a night he had at Wild Card. No doubt would he have something to say about it as he and Jame heads down the ramp, mean mugging the sea of fans sending negative vibes their way.

Schmidty CAN'T be happy about last night. Not only did he lose his belt, but he lost it to one of the New Gods which must be eating him alive right about now.

You can still see the look of anger on his face as he climbs up the steel steps and steps into the ring where James hands him a microphone. The two stand there for a few moments, waiting for the fans to quiet down, however that only triggers them to get louder to the point where James has to step in.

James
If you can all be quiet, Schmidty would like to speak.

He rolls his eyes as the tone becomes constant. Looking at his mentor, how upset he is, he bites his lip and tries once more.

James
Silence!

This only makes it worse, however, Schmidty's had enough.

Schmidty
Shut the hell up! I have something to say!

The negativity is still deafening but he decides to speak over it.

Schmidty
Last night was a fluke. Sebastian Frost stole what is mine and I will not wait any longer to get it back.

He pauses for a moment as the tone of the crowd seems to be tiring out.

Everybody who's anybody wanted to get their 2 cents in. Talk about how bad I am. How they don't like me. I had no support going in except for my own personal posse. Twitter was savage as Mac Thompson put it. You all wanted to hate on me for saying and doing things you don't like. And with all that in my head, I went out there, and I choked. I'll admit it. I have no excuses.

He lowers the microphone and nods at that comment before continuing.

Except for the fact that I had a massive tooth ache and it distracted me through out the match. If it wasn't for that, Sebastian Frost would still be the same nobody he was before that bell rang. But now, he's running around with my belt. Even got a new Corvette. He's out there, thinking he's on top of the world. But it's time to wake up. Because this......this right here is my world Frost. You can act bigger, but at the end of the day, nobody's bigger than me. I'm tired of everybody thinking all these little flukes define who I am. No. I am the greatest professional wrestler on the planet today. Not El Jefe, Paul Divine, Sebastion Frost, or ANYBODY can change that. I'm better than them all.......I'm better than all of you.........I am the absolute best this business has to offer and tonight, tonight will be the night I kill the Fluke Virus once and for all so you all can finally be able to see what I see. Be on the same page as me so I don't have to be forced to remind you every time I open my mouth about how good I am. So I don't have to scroll through my twitter and block a hundred names because everybody thinks it's cute to trash my good name. MY NAME is the name that'll go down in the history books for many accolades. I am this companies biggest star. I'm the reason why your fat asses are planted in those seats eating overpriced popcorn. I'm the show. CMV in one being. Anybody who disagrees with that will be beaten to the ground and buried beneath my feet and I promise you folks, it'll happen. The ego's backstage, they're large. But i'm larger. Larger than life. You can pretend there's bigger names than mine. Out of spite because i'm a realist. I call it like it is. I don't beat around the bush. Like right now, I could ignore the fact that i'm standing in the most disgusting city on the planet of Des Moines, Iowa but I won't. You all need to know that you're the worst kind of people. Yet you wanna judge me for the things I say. I'm not a bad guy. I'm just a guy who refuses to pass up on the chance to talk highly of himself.

He lowers the microphone to bask in his own glory as the fans decide to try to drown out his voice again.

James
Shut up! I swear to god you need to respect this man....

Schmidty puts his hand on James' mic.

It's fine.

He smiles, looking around.

Schmidty
You all just got blocked....yeah.....have fun being ignored.

The fans test that theory as Schmidty continues to speak.

Schmidty
With Johnny being my new pops and all, the strings are pretty easy to pull. Like I said, i'm not waiting for my rematch clause. So Sebastian, you had your night of fun, now take some aspirin to cure that hangover of yours and lace up those boots because tonight, i'm cashing in my rematch clause. You and me. No Holds Barred.

The fans actually give sort of a mixed pop to the announcement as he continues.

I'm gonna make sure a fluke like you never beats me again.

And with that, he drops the microphone and he and James head out of the ring as the show cuts to commercial.
