CMV Presents: Takeover

As voted by the CMV Universe kicking off the show tonight, a last minute "special bonus match" if you will. A bout between Cassie Maverick and Amber Briggs, two of the most successful Vixens in CMV history collide to kick off the first Pay Per View of the new year with a bang. There's some animosity going into this match following their tag team defeat earlier on the week, with Cassie wanting some revenge for said loss.

The first of two extreme rules matches tonight. Amanda Davis takes on Danielle Davis, after being upset last month at the hands of newcomer Danielle Davis. Amanda Davis wants nothing more than revenge, except this time it's extreme rules. However motivation has to be the question going into this match, with Amanda confirming this will be her last singles match for some time as she'll be looking to start managing Trey Diamond.

These two Vixens made their debut's against eachother, and will be making their PPV debuts against eachother as well. After a referee blunder which cost Audrey Hope her first match, she's been looking to get this rematch anyway she can, even using a sly attempt to thrown Joy off her game last week. However it didn't pay off, but she did get what she wanted, and will fight Justice tonight.

Three spots are left to be taken up in Queen of the ring, joining the likes of Tia Powley, Cassie Maverick and Sophia Gibson in what is to be a star stacked lineup. Two of these spots will be confirmed right here as the returning CJ Havret makes her PPV Re-Debut for the first time in a year to secure her place alongside Dawn Bryan in Queen of the Ring. However Raiden Brooks and Christine Lashley are not ones to go down easy as we've seen in recent weeks.

Ever since No Remorse, Pandora has made it very clear that the next person in No Morality she wants is Emily, and all month No Morality ignored her, stayed away, until last week, when Emily jumped Pandora heading into their match sending a message to the Puppet and declaring her intentions for Takeover.

Rose Punish won the Hardcore Championship last month, beating out the likes of Mariah, Ally Cage and Angelina Hawkins, actually pinning Hawkins, however tonight, after winning a triple threat contenders match out of the losers of said match. Hawkins not only has a chance at Redemption, but a chance to become the CMV Womens Hardcore Champion. What's the stipulation you ask? Well what is more hardcore than TLC?!

SPEAKING of Mariah and Ally Cage. Mariah has had it out for Ally ever since she allowed Mariah to be pinned in the Number One Contenders match, blaming her for laying on the outside of the ring. However Mariah failed to keep Ally's attention, until she crossed the line, ending Ally Cage's unbeaten run in singles matches against none other than the CMV Womens Hardcore Champion Rose Punish.

A match that was initially supposed to be Dirty Diana vs Jade Divine, because of Divines unfortunate retirement, a replacement has been found and the match will go on as planned, question is, who will Diana be facing, and how will she be able to cope?

Kristen Page never got a rematch for the Undisputed Womens Championship, because technically she never lost that belt. She lost the Womens Championship. However Kristen had the chance to get right back to the top of the mountain when she looked to win her Royal Rumble Qualifier against Maddy Zendran, however Zendrans Protoge had other thoughts, making sure to not only attack Kristen backstage, but distract the referee during the match, costing Kristen the ultimate opportunity.

Fury looks to make her first defense of her CMV Womens Intercontinental Championship tonight against her longtime rival Sophia Caldwell who believes Fury is not fit to hold the belt she once held two times. However there are some stipulations attached to this match, not only is it No Holds Barred. But Caldwell has given her word that win or lose, Fury will not hear from No Morality again after tonight, because she believes she is going to put Fury in the hospital. Alongside that Caldwell has made it very clear, that she doesn't want the belt, and should she win, she will be vacate it immediately.

In the Co-Main Event of Day One. Six Vixens go at it inside the Vixens Mini Royal Rumble to determine who will be a part of the Main Event of iMPLOSION. None of these Vixens have Royal Rumble Experience, but Quinn Belle knows exactly what winning it can do for you as last years winner Jade Divine. A stacked Rumble including the likes of Casey Wilson, the current Queen of the Ring, Quinn Belle, the former Vixens Champion, their arch rivals Maddy Zendran and Aerora, another former Vixens Champion in Morgan Black, and the biggest underdog on the card tonight, Jenny Wheeler. But who will come out on top?

Samantha Steel has been owed a one on one title shot for months, ever since she pinned Jade Dynamite at Showdown, but she never got it, with the formation of Ferocity she was forced to play second fiddle, however after her huge win over Jade Divine at No Remorse she earned this Undisputed Womens Championship shot at Megan Cooper. Will she move one step closer to being the first Vixen to hold every belt, or will Cooper make her first defense a strong one.

We kick the night off with some singles action, Trey Diamond continues his quest to tear down both The Thunder Circus and InFamous, he's already made quick work of most of InFamous and Luther Thunder, and tonight he looks to push his will down onto Strongman Bull to kick off the show before heading into the Royal Rumble later on tonight.

Our second match of the night takes place inside a steel cage with Logan Hail looking for revenge from his beating at the hands of Brody Halleck last month at No Remorse. Brody claims he doesn't hate Logan, he just wants to send a message to the rest of the roster by making sure Logan stays down once and for all tonight.

The Cowboys From Hell look to make their first defense tonight after winning the belts from The New Orient Express last month, however it's not going to be easy, The Wanderers have been on one hell of a roll this past month, even beating The Cowboys at the top of the month, could tonight be their time?

Not only is this Osiris' Singles return to CMV, but it is his Pay Per View return, and he takes on the mountain of a man Kurse, who called for some more challenging opponents at the top of the month to which he was answered by Osiris. After a tag team match the following week, the duo have been saving themselves, preparing, for this monstrous clash tonight at Takeover.

Anthony Brown shocked the world last month, winning the Television Championship when nobody thought he could, some would say he was let off by not having to actually beat Lee for it. But tonight he has the chance to really prove himself, taking on the ever cunning Ricky Spanish who has actively laid out his plan for tonight, claiming he's not only going to win this belt, but he's going to become Anthonys new daddy.

Who would have thought that something as little as sitting at the same table as someone else, would ultimately, a good three months later, lead to a tables match between these two men. What started out as something so tiny, has escalated to something so big, with Bryan Sanders stealing Teddy's trumpet along the way, leading to a backstage brawl to get it back, several attempts to interfere in eachothers matches. Bryan Sanders has been relentless, he's been obsessed, putting Soloway through TWO tables this past month, leading to the Intensity General Manager Thomas Sullivan booking the two men in a tables match here tonight.

These two men haven't exactly had the best months with both Glock and Parker picking up the odd loss here and there, but with all that in the past, this match is about who shows up TONIGHT. With Glock looking to win back his European Championship, and Parker looking to walk into the next month still the Champ, with everything on the line, nobody in eachothers corner, who will come out on top.

In what was a rather late addition to the show, Cole Savage came clean to D'Angelo St. Daniels earlier on this week with some real talk, some tough talk. Telling DSD the truth asking him how it feels to have an entire month of his life wasted, telling DSD that it doesn't matter what he wants he HAS to go through Cyborgs games if he wants that rematch. DSD on the other hand will be looking to prove him wrong, proving that he is still in his prime, he's not hit the pinnacle of his career, but first he has to get through Rick and Larry, with the help of a friend, but who could it be, somebody from outside of CMV perhaps.

This time last month Vindy was at the peak of CMV's mountain, he had just retired a legend in Eric Matthews, a former Two Time Television and Two Time World Champion, a season one veteran. But then out of nowhere the seemingly injured Omega Lee cashed in Money in the Bank to become the Global Champion, stealing Vindys spot. But... Vindy has a rematch, and over the last month, Vindy has remained dominant, and he's look to get back to the top tonight.

In the Co-Main Event of the evening. Chris Adams will look to defend his CMV World Championship from the man he beat last month in a picture perfect performance in Sunshine, and the current Number One Contender Jaymes Landon Vain. All Three men are veterans of CMV, but there is one X-Factor in this match, and that is Sunshine. Last time he took time off, he came back and won the Title at Contingency, however this time there's someone out to get him, someone who's made it very clear that something will go down at Takeover, question is.. What is it?

Finally the match we've been waiting for aaaaaalllllll year. The Royal Rumble Match, a match full of returns and special moments, what surprises await this year, Superstars from the past and present alike will compete to put it all on the line knowing that whoever walks out the winner of this match will ascend themselves to the grandest stage of them all, in the Main Event no less. There's 30 men, but who will be the winner.
