Can Rhys Matthews become the master tonight?
CMV Fusion Card #79 (Ep. 311)
Monday night Fusion: Episode 79!
LIVE from the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina!!!
Emergence card thus far! (Subject to change.)
-Fatal Decision vs. Chris Andrews & Paul Divine (c) for the CMV Tag Team championship!
-Kaiva vs. Randy Borton (c) for the CMV International championship!
----- ----- ----- ----- -----
It's the final month of 2018 here in CMV, as Home Coming is on the horizon. This is a crucial stretch for many superstars on the roster, their last chance to get themselves recognized before we head into a new chapter of the company's history. Superstars like Crowe and Adam Adams, who haven't been doing bad necessarily, both collecting a number of wins this season, but they've yet to truly shatter that glass ceiling. They failed to capture the Tag Team titles together back at Wild Card, but now they are opponents, and only one of them can take a step forward tonight, towards a brighter future.
This Cyborg Invitational bout will feature foes, D'Angelo Prince and Suraci, finally having their tie-breaking match-up. The Masked Man is currently leading the pack of eight tournament competitors at 2-0, but Prince isn't too far behind, sitting at 1-1, he could knock his rival off the top of the mountain and take the lead for himself here tonight!
With Son of Sheik being sent down to NGW, Shanaz Andoni, is once again left to fend for himself. Not to say that The REAL #1 Bubba can't handle himself, being a former two-time CMV Light Heavyweight champion, we'll see how he fairs when he looks to restart his solo career against Troy Meyers!
Four of the eight superstars currently involved in the third annual Cyborg Invitational will collide here tonight in some fatal-4-way action, when Travis King, Salvi, Jaquan Shay and Andrew Briggs all look to pick-up some of that always important momentum!
After coming together at Cause & Effect to brutally jump their common enemy in Freddy Osbourne, Lex Night and Cameron Harris, have decided to take their partnership into the ring here tonight, when they go at it with the struggling duo of Mike Crimson and Sebastian Frost, The New Gods.
Paul Divine's thirty days are up and he now contractually has to defend his CMV Undisputed championship. One would think that the number one contender, Chris Andrews, would step-up to the bat, but no, general manager, Johnny Sampson, has put a hold on that, saying that the winner of this match here tonight will face-off against The Brit at Home Coming. So who will it be that gets this huge opportunity in tonight's main event? None other than Divine's own protege, his student, Rhys Matthews. This is no doubt screwing with The Asian Sensation's mind, he taught Matthews everything that he knows, but if Paul decides to pull his punches, the student just may become the master.
Live Event!
-Outlaws vs. Heaven or Hell
-Brendan X vs. Razor Windu
-Winner!

But if you lose to Paul, you'll have lost to both. Should I call Crisis Prevention preemptively?
