On the Over the Limit kickoff show, we'll witness six men battle it out for the right to be named #1 contender and get a shot at the Hardcore championship on the grandest stage of them all! We know for sure that Randy Borton will have the distinct advantage of entering last, but for the other five superstars . . . It's all about the luck of the draw and who wants it more!!!

Troy Voodoo vs. Jaxon Jordan (c)
United States championship
For weeks now, Troy Voodoo has been relentlessly attacking Zack Cage, seemingly for no reason at all. But Jaxon Jordan finally decided enough was enough and put a stop to that three weeks ago, saving Cage from another sure beat down at the hands of Voodoo. Now, Jaxon may regret stepping in, as Troy has beaten him on three separate occasions this past month, and now must defend his United States title against the hungry challenger here tonight!

Cole Savage, Christian & Mark Henry vs. Marcantel, Ringo Maxx & ? ? ?
Tonight is the culmination of weeks of back and forth between Cole Savage and his posse, and Marcantel. The big red monster has been tasked with finding himself two partners, and he did find one in Ringo Maxx, but does that still stand after Marcantel's brutal assault on Maxx a few weeks back? And could he manage to find himself a third ally, or will he be heading into battle tonight all by his lonesome???

Paul Anderson vs. ? ? ?
Paul Anderson is heading into this match-up tonight, still unaware of exactly WHO it is he'll be facing. This leaves the former World champion at a disadvantage, but since returning last month at The Royal Rumble, Anderson has been on a tear, so whomever his opponent may be, would be wise not to take the CMV veteran lightly . . .

Sunshine returns to give The Undertaker his answer . . .

Tim LaFave (c) vs. Omega-Z
Extreme Rules match for the Hardcore championship
Ever since defeating Omega-Z one on one a couple of weeks ago on Raw, via count-out mind you, Tim LaFave's relationship with X-Gen has been . . . Rocky at best. And even after scolding the referee and apologizing to Omega, no amount of pleading or excuses will hold the man from the future back from once again becoming a champion. But Tim isn't going down without a fight either, respect or no respect, good guy or bad guy, these two know what is on the line, not only the Hardcore title, but also a chance to compete on the grandest stage of them all and defend that championship!

CMV Tag Team championship
All month, it has been back and forth between these two teams, desperate for momentum and to prove that they are the better duo. Both sides have scored some big wins, and both sides have suffered some heavy losses, but tonight is what matters the most. Tonight, the CMV Tag Team titles are on the line, and no matter what has happened in the past couple of weeks, it all boils down to this, and which side truly is the best!

American Justice vs. Hayden
Bruised ribs and all, Hayden has thrown the gauntlet down and will once again go head to head with perhaps his greatest rival in his CMV career, American Justice! After everything that has been said and done between these two, after all of the blood that been spilled in and out of the ring, it's time to finally put an end to this rivalry, and to see who in fact will be going to Wrestlemania, as Hayden defends his 2017 Royal Rumble victory, against the monster that is The American Justice!

Levi Marta vs. JustIN Sane
Non-title match
In Levi Marta's biggest CMV match to date, he'll go one on one with the Undisputed World champion, JustIN Sane, tonight, in the hopes of being placed in the main event of Wrestlemania! This will be no easy task to accomplish though, as Sane has been almost completely unstoppable in his reign as the king of CMV. He's slashed Ryan Kent, he's destroyed Sunshine, he's disposed of Zak Painn and he's ripped apart Troy Voodoo . . . And now tonight, in the main event of Over the Limit, he's looking to make his trail of bodies bigger, and eviscerate the thorn in his side that is Levi Marta . . .
