With Ascendance V only getting closer and closer, tonight's edition of Monday night Fusion will get underway with a bang, as Xander Slate defends his CMV United States championship against Sean Kent! Last week Kent played a hand in Slate's defeat of Azreal, but The OG Dirty Heel has made it perfectly clear that he'll show no mercy towards his opponent here in this one, and with The BOA promising revenge on his former tag team partner; will Sean be able to maintain focus in such a high stakes bout?

In our second match-up of the evening, two superstars with a lot to prove will go head to head, when The Assassin, Harvey Hastings, seeks momentum ahead of his bout with Oliver Smith at the show of shows, taking on a rugged and pissed off, Crowe, whose only thought is getting his hands on the man who has made his life a living hell these past few months, American Justice.

Where his tag team partner, Jimmaurie Williams, failed last week, Jaquan Shay, is looking to succeed, as he'll step into the ring tonight to go one on one with the CMV Anarchy champion, The Pitbull, Perry Heenan!

Tag team action is coming our way up next, as we'll witness the currently undefeated dirty cop duo of John Smith and Bill Jones, get a huge opportunity when they duke it out with the current CMV Fusion Tag Team champions, Desolation! Though it seems confirmed that it'll be Suraci and Tyson Cage getting the next shot at Bludgeon and Trauma's belts come Ascendance, a win for The Police Squad tonight would most certainly bring them into title contention.

Jack Spade makes his official in-ring Fusion debut tonight, looking to prepare for the battle to come at Ascendance in the Money in The Bank ladder match, when he goes at it with a former CMV Anarchy champion in The Harbinger of Darkness, Bannon!

In our co-main event of the night here on the flagship show of CMV, it'll be the reborn and nastier for it, Troy Meyers, going toe to toe with The Unique One, Arthur Rose, in what promises to be a hard-hitting encounter. With Rose's hopes of going on to Ascendance and ending the career of Oliver Smith dashed at Purgatory by Harvey Hastings, The Mad Man is now on the hunt to prove that he still belongs at the showcase of immortals, whilst The Pain Maker still awaits an answer from Rhys Matthews regarding their possible match-up at the grandest stage of 'em all . . .

It's main event time, folks, and set to go at it are four of the six men who will tempt fate and clash in the Money in The Bank ladder match at Ascendance in only three week's time, as Andrew Briggs and Matt Devious of Bad Men Inc. bring their partnership and numbers game to the table against the unstable alliance of Filth, Shane Scott, and The Pride of Scotland, Jacob Ziegler. It'll be every man for himself come the show of shows though, minus BMI of course, and with that in mind will Scott and Ziegler be able to coexist; or will egos flare and be their quick demise?
