Pre-Show!

The biggest event in CMV history begins with the Pre-Show panel, LIVE from a separate location away from the main arena, CMV superstars and legends will join Dashing DJ Urie to go over the events of this historic show and what will be going down in the days to come. But it won't be all talk, no, there's plenty of action to be seen as well, and it'll kickoff with the second annual Slick B Memorial Battle Royal, twenty superstars from both Fusion and Genesis, past, present and future, will gather to honor the life and times of the one and only Slick B whilst looking for a big win at the show of shows!

Tyler Endicot is out for his payment when he takes on the Lucha Legend and hero to all, Super Gato!

Tag team action will take to the stage up next, as under the new leadership of Nero, Afterlife and Baal, of the Hellfire Club are finally looking to turn their luck around by taking out the former World Tag Team champs and their rivals, Extreme Conditions!

The Legit Gentleman, Miles Kelly, is out to teach Arthur Rose a lesson or two in respect tonight as the two foes finally go one on one!

With his winning streak growing week in and week out, MLP is on the hunt to make it a cool eight victories in a row here tonight, that is unless The Latvian, Kaiva, has anything to say about, desperate for a victory of his own and to put Pratt's winning ways to a rest.

After three excruciating months of pain inflicted at the hands of American Justice, Crowe is finally going to get his hands on his aggressor in what is sure to be a bloody No Holds Barred collision!

Main event time on the Ascendance V Pre-Show means that the CMV Rising Star title will be up for grabs, the champion, Victor Romero, forced to defend against two game challengers in The Japanese Sensation, El Guerrero Furioso and The Outcast, Brett Angel!

Kickoff!

LIVE from the famous Caesars Palace in Paradise, Nevada, it's time to really get things underway with the Ascendance V Kickoff show, and to get the ball rolling, we're going to see the future of CMV in RISE, take on the best of the past in the returning WEB, who are hungry to reclaim their mantle as the most dominate force in all of the wrestling world!

Josh Wolf has promised that Ascendance V will be his ultimate hunting grounds, and that Kevin Lee will be his biggest prey to date. Who knows what may have happened to Cass LaFave had Wolf not intervened and saved her from Lee's clutches two weeks ago, it's something that many don't even want to imagine. But tonight, The Hypothetical Kungfu Practitioner is looking to make Josh pay dearly for meddling in his affairs.

The trombone playing, Brazilian born superstar, Rubik, is setting out to lighten up the CMV universe and make his first defense of his CMV Light Heavyweight championship in this next match, as opposing him is a man who seeks to bring this company into a new disturbing and dark age, the one they call FEAR, Bill Maverick.

After hounding Rhys Matthews to give him this bout here at Ascendance for months on end, Troy Meyers, caved in a few weeks back and took matters into his own hands, assaulting The Exception and forcing him into this encounter. Now it's time to see if the self-proclaimed, “Painmaker” can back up all of his smack-talking, when the two long-time enemies come to blows on the grandest stage of 'em all!

It's one of, quite literally, the biggest match-ups in recent memory, as The Russian Ogre, Guri Sukanov, will attempt to knock The Big Dawg, Pierre Thompson, off of his pedestal, in this clash of the titans for the CMV International championship!

What his motives are exactly, nobody, including Jon Reed, seems to know, but the mysterious man known as Nero has made it his sole mission to run Reed's wrestling career into the dirt. First it was costing him a shot at the Alpha World championship, then it was stripping him of his pride and finally, stealing his own club out from under him . . . But The Fallen Angel has had enough, and here at the show of shows, will be looking to end Nero once and for all . . .

Capping (heh, get it?) things off here for the Ascendance V Kickoff show, will be a sight to see indeed, Bryce Hurt and his good pal, Tito, squaring off against his arch-rival, The Human Fish, El Jefe, and none other than the host of this grand spectacle himself, Captain America baby, Chris Evans! In a feud that has stretched back to nearly the start of this season, Hurt and Jefe with their boys at their backs are out to end things here on the showcase of the immortals!

Day One!

Day One gets off the ground with some triple threat action hitting the ring, The OG Dirty Heel and The FACE of America, Xander Slate, putting his CMV United States title on the line against The BOA and apparently a big Star Wars fan, Azreal, and the man who's out to escape from his older brother's shadow, Sean Kent!

In what is no doubt the biggest match-up in his entire career, The Good Vibes Kid, Elijah Stewart, is not only looking to avenge his Stewies but also prove that he belongs in the upper-echelon of Friday night Genesis, and this is how he does it, by defeating The Alpha Male, a former World champion in the mean looking and hard-hitting, Furious Frank!

The CMV World Tag Team championship is to be decided up next, when the rookie pairing of brothers Reynard and Nemean Audrey, challenge the dominant duo of champs, Zack Cage and Nick Blake, in their specialty, an elimination bout!

Once brothers and champions, now bitter rivals with hatred for each other that runs deep, Bison and Duo Maxwell will collide in a bout that very well may shake the entire landscape of CMV, literally and figuratively, and that may not end until one of them can't stand any longer . . .

It's the DREAM MATCH ladies and gentleman, nearly two years in the making, the twitter beef will finally come to life in the ring, as here on the grandest stage of 'em all, Sam Valentine and Bob Luger will set out to prove which of them truly is the better man!

Tonight, the CMV universe will lose a legend, as win or lose, Oliver Smith is hanging up his boots for good. But Harvey Hastings is looking to ensure that it is indeed a loss that he will be sent out on, but if the recent months are any indication, Smith will not go down easy, but instead as a warrior, swinging and cussing, and if he can, with a notch in the win column!

Bringing an end to Day One of Ascendance V, the CMV Alpha World championship will hang in the balance, when The BattleBeast, Kayden Kynra, strives to fulfill his own potential, but to do so, he must surpass The Firestarter, a living legend and a guaranteed future Hall of Famer, Ryan MOTHERFUCKING Kent, who after chasing the belt that he currently holds all season long, won't depart with it without giving up the fight of his life!

Day Two!

Day Two comes to us bearing gifts, things starting up with the CMV Fusion Tag Team titles on the line, The Bickering Duo of Suraci and Tyson Cage have worked hard to earn this opportunity, enduring the competition and one another. But will the pressure of it all finally catch up to them and bring an end to this rocky pairing, or can they put their differences aside and celebrate the greatest night of their lives together? To do so they must dethrone the monstrous and dominant alliance of Bludgeon and Trauma, Desolation!

Family warfare takes to the ring and not for the last time tonight, the brothers Davis coming to blows with some serious implications at stake, for if Pete is victorious, Jay must depart from CMV forever, but if it is The Rebel who reigns with the upper-hand, then both Pete AND Guri Sukanov will have to hit the open road!

Since arriving in CMV only three months ago, Perry Heenan, has been almost unstoppable, picking up the Anarchy championship only three weeks into his career. And with his strong promise to make the title mean something again like it did when it first was created, The Pitbull, has garnered a ton of support from those in the back and of course the fans. But two superstars who are among the haters if you will, are Jimmaurie Williams and Jaquan Shay of The Kip-Up Kings, both feeling as though they'd be better representing the brand as champion, but only one of them can in this triple threat Anarchy Rulz encounter!

Father against Son. A family torn to pieces. The agony and suffering that Pat LaFave has put his own offspring through in these past six months has been something straight out of a horror novel. But rising up after the beatings both mental and psychical, surviving the torments of what should be the man that he looks up to, Tim LaFave, has fallen back on his own motto, the words that he lives by; AGAINST ALL ODDS! It seems that there is nothing that can dampen ole Timmy boy's spirit that's known to mankind, and that very essence is what he will need to finally stand up, look his father dead in the eyes and prove to HIMSELF, that everything that he has done has been HIS doing, and here at the showcase of immortals, only one LaFave will be left standing when the dust settles . . .

They have most certainly talked the talk, oh boy have they, but now it's time to see who it will be that walks the walk. CMV's loudest mouths have been embroiled in a war of words this past month, but their history stretches back to long before that. Schmidty feels as though he is a God, untouchable and his track record speaks for itself. In what seems like a single blink of the eye The Game Changer has done just that, shaping CMV to his very whim. But just when it looked like there were no hero's left and this company's day were getting darker, Cole Savage, came to the rescue, a single light in a dying landscape, Savage rose above. And with nothing on the line but two giant egos, a man who has had his high castle built by breaking the backs of anyone who dares to stand in his way, faces down a man who has never shy'd away from walking right up to the biggest guy in the room and telling him what's what. It's all come down to this, who will be vindicated in their mission and who will be laid bare for all to see, embarrassed at the shows of shows?

CMV's sixth ever Money in The Bank ladder match grabs the co-main event slot here at Ascendance V, five of Monday night Fusion's best and brightest yearning for the chance to break that proverbial glass ceiling. Jacob Zielger, the fan favorite to win, Shane Scott, whose recent in-ring performances have caught the eye of many in the CMV universe, Bad Men Inc, whose number games leave many betting on them, Jack Spade, the dark horse of the line-up with a lot to prove and of course, the sixth man, still a mystery, who could very well blow all predictions out of the water. No matter which of these wicked six it is that will ascend a ladder and be rewarded with that life-altering briefcase, they will have earned it, and just may be the next big thing in CMV.

The main event, the showcase of this grand spectacle, the headliner on the show of shows, two of the biggest names in the wrestling world today, two living legends set to clash as they have so many times in the past. The Asian Sensation and The Bloody Brit. Allies, partners, friends, foes, rivals . . . Champions. But only one of them may be so again here tonight. This storied history meets its end, the final chapter, the pinnacle. Paul Divine and Chris Andrews, one on one, in the main event of Ascendance V to crown a NEW CMV Undisputed champion . . . Who will walk out of the grandest stage of 'em all as the better man and once again sit atop CMV's mountain as the face that runs the place!?
