On the night of Deathwish, in the locker rooms of the venue for the first Genesis Brand PPV of the new season, Eligah Stewart and Tim LaFave prepare themselves for the battle against the Kliq in the Main Event.

Eligah, once again applying his very important wrist tape and LaFave in the midst of throwing on his jersey and cap. The silence was louder than the crowd in the arena. Eligah and Tim hadn't spoken to each other since the night before Stewart took on Borton but LaFave content with the silence. His pre-match activities often incorporated lots of silence and focus. But, something cropped into his head, something he had to say.

Tim fixed his cap tightly onto his head and then exhaled and turned to Eligah.

Tim LaFave
Eligah?

Stewarts back was to Tim; but he lifted his head from his pre-match prep and then turned to Tim.

Tim
I'm not here to make a statement against the Kliq. That'll come later. I'm here for support. I want you to retain your title and I'm here to assure it stays on your waist. You deserve it more than anybody else on the other side of the ring we'll be standing in. I'll fight my hardest if you fight yours.

Keep your head on a swivel and I'll watch your back. Tonight's about you. So let's do what we do best and put a show on for the people in the stands we love. Alright?

Eli smiles and nods.

Tim
Let's get it.

In the main event tonight. The Kliq face their biggest challenges and Tim, Eligah and Smiley face the same. Who will leave Deathwish victors? The odds seem to be in the favor of the Kliq. But we all know how Tim feels about the odds.

Getting that feeling almost that Tim isn't completely sincere, maybe it's Chris Andrews getting into my head, but I can imagine this is how Eli feels, caught between Tim and Brit and then facing down KLIQ, not an easy life he's living. Nice job!

One of those situations being too kind comes off disingenuous. Being a super baby face is a hard equation in that being too goody-goody comes off being shifty and not being goody-goody enough comes off heelish.

There has to be a equal mixture of confident, kind and assertive. Botched it here.
