Well this game has been fucking dreadful and probably the most undeserving team in the tournament are on the cusp of winning. What a bad tournament.

But the statement holds true. I don't think anyone (I think Borton was taking a stab in the dark for an underdog team to accompany Germany) would have predicted the tournament's outcome as it played out.
