*Jay Davis is Sitting in his Hotel room drinking a Coke and watching TV*

*Someone's Knocking*

Jay Davis: Now who could that be at this time.

*He Opens it up with his Sister, Amanda Davis, in front of him*

Amanda Davis: Hey big bro! How've you been?

Jay Davis; I've been good. How about you?

Amanda Davis: I've been better. Just got off the plane from Dublin and came down here.

*Amanda walks into the room*

Amanda: Okay. So how about what happened with the League of Doods or High Voltage? Hmm? Jay, Troy is uncontrollable. Sooner or later, You're gonna have to show him whose in charge.

Jay: That's enough, Amanda. I mean you're right, but he's my partner. Not an animal.

Amanda: Well anyway I got important news for you about Genesis.

Jay: Okay? What is it?

Amanda: Well you know how WEB threw out that challenge to you that if you beat X-Gen you'd get Tag Team Title Spot?

Jay: Yeah?

Amanda: Well now you can get what is yours and you can beat X-Gen.

Jay: So you're telling me that me and Troy are going up against X-Gen?

*Amanda nods up and down*

Jay: Hmmm, I feel like you set it up, But thanks, little sis. I owe you one.

Amanda: You owe me more than one if you're gonna be doing this kind of crap.

Jay: Okay,okay. I got it. I still owe you.

*Jay Davis hugs Amanda*

Amanda: Well maybe you should get some sleep.

Jay: Yeah. I'll talk to you in the morning.

*Amanda walks out of the door, Jay walking behind her*

*Amanda walks to her room and Jay goes to sleep*

Before jay can go to sleep, the door comes crashing in and exploding like the cool aid man.

"I see what your doing here..." Quantum emerges from the smoke and embers. "I get it... It isn't about you or I... It isn't about your team or mine... You just want the belts..
Ok then, I'll play your silly little game. What's your tag team record? 1-1?
You think you're gonna have any credibility going for the titles against WEB with that record? 
Absolutely... Not...
So you want to come at XGeN and establish yourself. Oh ok... That makes sense. You beat us, your eligible for a title shot eh?
So that's what WEB threw out there... Put a little spider in your ear for you to try to make a name for yourself eh?

so they said in order to get a match with them for the titles, you have to defeat  legendary team to gain credibility. 
We say... In order to get that match against us, you have to beat someone else.its only fair right?

*Walks over to him*

Jay: Well sorry to disappoint you, but that match is happening at genesis. I don't care what you, Sushi or anyone else says.

*Goes right to the face of him*

Jay: So I'll give you 5 seconds to get the hell out of my room before X-Gen becomes a 4 Man stable.

"Oh don't worry, you haven't disappointed me. XGeN is ready for any challenges, any day... Pick any two, and we will battle on fusion, we can battle on Genesis, we can battle on Thursday nights at your grandmas house! It's doesn't matter....
But we have Web to focus on... We have Foreign Affairs breathing down our necks... And now you want to come knocking? Get in line, kid."

Quantum walks out

*Puts finger in Quantum's chest*

Jay: Now listen here, you no-brained, childish, f*cktard!! I dont care if you have 1 or 100 tag teams on your back, We're here right now because you're chickensh*t and want to bail out. And if you think it's that easy, Nope. Nobody and I do mean nobody bails out on the Rebels. Otherwise, Dire consequences will be brought upon X-Gen. And I dont think you'd want that now wouldnt you, you excuse of a tin cup.

Quantum laughs.

You want a match with WEB... WEB says to beat us first.  So you challenge us. I say to go use someone else as a stepping stone.
You say we are trying to 'excercise our prey' by asking that you establish yourself before coming for us... When that's exactly what WEB is doing to you?
You're not paying any attention to what's going on, are you?
This doesn't make any sense... Yet you call ME brainless...

I know you're new here, but let me explain something:
No matter what you say or how you say it...
You're never getting the match with WEB... Because we will take those belts from them this Sunday. 
And when XGeN is holding the belts... We will accept any challenge.... Right after you establish yourself..."

Quantum walks out... Again

And runs right into Justin Edwards and the other numbers of WEB backstage.  Before Quantum has the chance to react Edwards grins ear to ear and starts doing what he does best.

Oh look, Quantum running away.  Funny how he keeps doing such a great job of that.  First he runs away from Adam Bradley during our debut match, now he runs away from a match with perhaps the only 2 individuals on the CMV roster more pathetic than he is.  I dont say this often, but I am willing to admit when I am wrong.  I underestimated you Quantum.  You really are the best at running away on the entire damn roster.  Congratulations.

Anyways, we were just on our way out to congratulate those sad sacks out there on getting their match with you.  It really is a great opportunity for a couple of up and comers.  But you know, I am thinking its not the best idea anymore.  I mean in order to do it we would have to turn our backs on you.  And like you have demonstrated time and time again youre such a coward thats the only way you will attack us, so we wont give you the chance.

The lights flicker on and off and without giving Quantum the opportunity to respond they are gone.  And probably somewhere far away, like not in the arena but also not an obvious place that anyone would think to look or meet them at, and there is no record of it in the future so even a time traveler couldnt find out where they went.  And the broadcast ends.  And doesnt come back on.  Because its over now.

He manages to get his phone out and dials his brother.

 Am I the only one that sees this?? They all think we are what they are!!!" He barely makes out through gasps and cackles. 

As he gets to his feet, he wipes his brow, and continues walking, "Their ill attempts at trash talk seems to be merely self reflection...
If they think we do that they do, they have another thing coming..."

He high-fives the fan and knocks his phone out of his hand, ending the record
