The Puppet Master is backstage at Blood Rush where later tonight he goes 1 on 1 with Quantum….When Mac Thompson comes rushing over for yup you guessed it, that backstage exclusive…

Mac : Hey Puppet Master, may I get your thoughts on your big match up tonight?

Tops : Well Mac, Tonight isn’t just a big match, it’s arguably the biggest match of my career, you see the winner gets to main event Implosion.the biggest PPV of the year... Quantum thinks he can just show up on Unmatched and be gifted a main event spot while I’ve been destroying everyone in my path on Intensity from day one.

Mac : Speaking of gifted, wasn’t you gifted a shot too when Cole Savage picked you and what is your relationship with Savage?

Tops : My relationship with him is none of your business and no I wasn’t just picked…. I EARNED my place in this years Implosion. You see time after time, I’ve been screwed out of opportunities, whether it was my spot in the Elimination Chamber, or having to defend my TV Title to mystery opponents not once but twice, I defeated Skylar then a week or so later, I had to defend against another mystery opponent in Mugen, whole STOLE my title, and what happened to that purple mess, he became nothing, such a waste, i should have been the longest TV Champion in history, yet i was treated like garbage when higher ups fed me to a one hit wonder in Mugen ...Meanwhile I carried Intensity, making a name for myself week in, week out, to get where i am today.

How fitting though, Quantum is my next big obstacle, the man who knows all too much about time, but you see I heard what he had to say a few weeks ago, I listened to each and every word and the ones that I liked were these, he said…”As we all know, I have never beaten JustIN Sane”. Well Quantum at Blood Rush you’ll be facing a guy who on his debut mopped the floor with JustIN Sane, I beat him so bad in the only 64 man Tournament and sent him packing back to Fusion where he belonged. Quantum this isn’t your time, maybe your thinking in another multiverse you defeat me, but in reality and in every multiverse it’s the same ending, the same result and the same outcome, that being Top’s Newsome going onto Implosion and becoming the New CMV World Heavyweight Champion….. Quantum, Time doesn’t matter but No Strings Attached is guaranteed.

Mac Thompson concludes the interview yet the cameras continue rolling. He begins to walk down the hallway and makes the first right... right? Right into Quantum, bumps him and everything. Thompson throws his hands up in defense, one still clutching the live microphone, and Quantum takes the opportunistic route

Quantum: If you wanted the exclusive, all you had to do is ask, Tom.

Mac: It's Mac, but since I'm here...

He shuffles his body in a side to side motion as Tops passes behind him through the Tbone of the hallway, trying his damndest to avoid a confrontation by hiding Quantum's opponent.

Quantum: Tom, you're like 4 foot 12.... you're not gonna hide that man passing by behind you. I'm sure you're here to ask me how I feel about my match tonight and what my thoughts are on his words regarding me.

Mac: That hasn't aired yet...

Quantum: Everything is always happening at the same time, Tom. That's the thing. It's all always LIVE, from a quantum standpoint. Whatever is, is always, and whatever will be, has already been. You're about to shrug your shoulders and say "What?"

Mac Thompson does indeed shrug his shoulders, and begins with "Wh..." before catching himself.

Quantum: but the real question is- Would you have said it had said you weren't going to say it? Or would you have not said it I had I said you would have said it, after you knew I'd say you'd say it... but didn't say it?"

Mac: What?

Quantum: There it is! Now, let's wrap this thing up- He mentioned having this opportunity handed to me? Let's be honest now, in my history and career with CMV I've had nothing handed to me. The others he spoke about, the Skylar and the Mugen, yea, they might have been handed their title opportunities against him. But I? I've fought for every chance I didn't get. I've batted for every opportunity that didn't go my way. And yes, I've tried to TAKE things, but I've never been given anything in this life, your reality or mine.
Tops, you mentioned your favorite of my words from a couple weeks ago... and I have to remind you... that every other person walking around strutting their stuff about how they've beaten Justin Sane has been quietly put down by me. But this will not be quiet, Tops... and when you step into the ring with me you will look me in the eyes and realize we have met before... but I am not Blizzard.
And everything that has happened, has already happened... and everything you've tried before, won't work this time.
