With only two weeks left until the final pit-stop on the road to Ascendance five, Purgatory, to get things underway here tonight, we'll be finding out who'll be challenging for the CMV Anarchy championship at that very event, when the former champion, The REAL #1 Bubba, Shanaz Andoni, tangles with a former World champ in The Exception, Rhys Matthews! Question is; will Troy Meyers make another surprise appearance in his mission to get an Ascendance bout with the once New God?
Arthur Rose & Harvey Hastings vs. The Bickering Duo
Two unconventional teams to put it lightly will go at it in this next match, when Purgatory opponents, Arthur Rose and Harvey Hastings, take on Tyson Cage and Suraci, who after losing out on a chance to become the Tag Team champions last week have seemingly grown closer. Will they be able to get back to their winning ways though or will The Unique One and The Assassin prove to be a deadly combo?
Sean Kent vs. Azreal
Having enough of Fatal Decision's constant trash talking of him, co-general manager of Monday night Fusion, Schmidty, has used his powers at hand to get back at the two partners, booking them against each other tonight and to make sure that they don't flake, has dangled a future CMV United States title shot in front of the winner . . .
American Justice vs. Chris Andrews
The CMV Undisputed champion hasn't been having the best month, although his rib injury has finally fully healed, he not only was on the losing end of that six-man tag a few weeks back, he also was pinned not once but twice by Paul Divine in last week's main event. Tonight, Andrews is looking to turn that all around when he sets out to slay one of CMV's original monsters, the hulking American Justice. After exchanging words with his number one contender, Travis King, last week, The Brit's really gotta put some punch behind his gab, while AJ had best be on the lookout for a fuming Crowe . . .
Rize vs. Matt Devious
Both of these superstars were on the losing end of last week's fatal-4-way match, but have the chance to get back on track here tonight, when the still unpinned and unsubmitted, Rize, goes head to head with The Antagonist and a man who hasn't lost any of his last ten singles matches, Matt Devious!
Shane Scott vs. Oliver Smith
The in-ring veteran, Oliver Smith, doesn't have much time left in his CMV career, his retirement bout set for Ascendance five against either Arthur Rose or Harvey Hastings. But just as he's looking to do then, he'll be out to do tonight, and that's win, when he goes one on one with FILTH, Shane Scott, who's been in top form since returning and is not looking to see his streak come to a close so quickly.
Paul Divine & Schmidty vs. Brody Sampson & Jacob Ziegler
What a most heinous sight it was at the close of last week's Fusion, when The Asian Sensation, the CMV universe's beating heart and soul, turned his back on the fans and aligned with the devil himself in Schmidty. Now, as a part of the co-general manager's Lineage, Divine and his new pal will be tasked with taking down their common enemies in Brody Sampson and Jacob Ziegler. A new chapter has begun in the history of this company with Paul at Schmidty's side, and it is looking to be a dark one indeed, but perhaps if Sampson and The Scotsman can pull together, they can make it just a bit brighter.
