Hitting a Nerve
After the tag match Shiloh Gray again takes a moment to take an interview with Lisa Evans backstage. She smiles as the camera turns on and the recording starts.
Lisa Evans
Ladies and gentlmen, Mr. Shiloh Gray
The camera pans to the right showing Shiloh with a wide grin. Something not many can do coming off a loss.
Lisa Evans
Shiloh, tell me what happened out there.
Shiloh Gray
Sure. Troy and Gerhard came out the stronger team. I'm not going to say I'm not upset. I very much am. As I've said before, I'm not here to lose. I'm here to become the best at this game. To become a great wrestler. As long as I give 100%, I excel at whatever I do. But you can't ignore the facts, Troy got the better of our team.
Lisa Evans
What about all these attacks from Troy? Aren't your the least bit nervous?
Shiloh Gray
All I see is a very a young performer who is very confused. I don't think he knows what he wants or who he is. I'm in my 30s, I've seen alot of the world in my life time. I raised Tim when Mom was working through most of his childhood. And I see a lot of traits from Tim's youth in Troy Meyers psyche. I don't know what made him this way, but I don't think he knows any better.
???
Bah!
Shiloh swings around, turning behind him to see who would scoff this way. Who, of course, than Troy Meyers stands behind Gray.
Troy Meyers
Don't talk like you know me. Like you know my struggles. The pain I've felt, losing day in and day out. Scratching only a handful of winning tallies on my wall. You don't know me. But I know you...
Troy Meyers steps forward, leaning in close. Troy appears very serious. His first two encounters with Shiloh showed a more lovable and friendly persona, before of course turning truly sinister. But this time, there is no transition. He has started serious.
Troy Meyers
I know you've jumped around so many promotions that you're indecisive. I know you've not won a match since you joined Fusion for a second time. I know you won't succeed here and I know I'll be the one to put you down. Once and for all.
*Twang*
A nerve has been hit. Shiloh steps forward. Meeting Troy eye-to-eye-nose-to-nose.
Shiloh Gray
Just what the hell is your problem? You've been nothing but a thorn in my side since I got back. Why are your giving me such a hard time?
Troy Meyers
Because I don't like losers. I was a loser once, not anymore. I'm not going to let some aging superstar with a mid life crisis come into my house and make a name for themselves. You're just a wash-out. Always have been... always will be...
Shiloh clenches his fist. Weeks of torment from Meyers has come to a boiling point as Shiloh can barely contain himself.
Troy Meyers
Get outta here, old-man. Go look after your family, I'd hate for them to see you get hurt by me.
As quick as a flash, Shiloh throws a right hook, his fist bunching the flesh of Troy's cheek against his knuckles as Meyers is sent sprawling. Meyers takes a moment to register what happened and then uses his forearm to wipe up any signs of blood from his lip. Shiloh hunkers down and motions Meyers to come at him.
Meyers, laughs under his breath and gets to his feet. Dusting off the backstage dirt from his tights. Meyers smiles at Shiloh briefly before he tackles him into the wall behind him. Lisa squeals before running down the hallway. Meyers throws several rights to the head of Shiloh, mangling his fabulous man-bun. Shiloh puts up his left arm and blocks the fourth consecutive punch before through a right of his own; staggering Meyers he wobbles backwards before Shiloh throws a mighty lariat throwing Troysef on his back.
Shiloh wants nothing more than to end Meyers torment, he sees a crew crate against the wall, parallel to the downed body of Meyers. Shiloh looks at Meyers, then to the crate then back to Meyers. What is he thinking?
Gray bursts into a sprint towards the crate. Does a short hop, placing the sole of his feet on the top of the box and then back flipping off it, a Lionsault attempt from the crate to Meyers. However the instincts of Troy warn him and he rolls away causing Shiloh to land flat and hard on his torso. Reeling now, Troy takes advantage and picks Shiloh up and irish whips him into the crate he trustingly moonsaulted from, slamming his already broken chest against the crate and now falling on his back.
Meyers approaches Gray, smiling.
Troy Meyers
Remember the House, remember the name. See you around Fusion, old-man.
As Meyers walks away from the barely conscious Shiloh Gray he begins laughing hardily, his maniacal cackles becoming more and more faint as he makes his way further down the hall. The CMV nurses just arrive as the scene closes.

Re: Hitting a Nerve
This was intense, and personal. The feud has reached a new level and I like the brawl a lot. Shiloh made a mistake and Troy capitalized on it well. Shows off both characters VERY well. Good shit Tim.
