Re: How to handle
When my dad had a heart attack, I was devastated for a bit, but cause I am who I am I bottled the emotions up and forgot about them, I don't get close to people, cause if I did, I would have committed suicide long ago.
But, I dont recommend this to you. It took me a while to find a way to simply not care about that stuff.
Things you can do to make it better for you:
1: Is she a Christian?
If she is then she going to a better place then here.
If she not a Christian, but believe in something else, then she going to that version of the Afterlife.
If she is an Atheist, her body will become energy, and go to the world. Which means she will always be around you.
2: Is She Ready To Go?
Have she made her peace with the world. If so, then I would advice you make your peace with her. Get out everything that you wanted to tell her, but couldn't, I never told my dad stuff before he was gone. And I don't have a chance to tell him.
3: Bottling?
Trust me, bottling your emotions are hard, I don't recommend it. But that's the only way to cope I know how to do. If you need to talk to anyone, we all are here as a community to help you get through this mate.
Jrod. You are among friends, we are here for you. Im sorry that your mum is dying, and that you have to go through this at a young age, but no matter what, things do get better.

Re: How to handle
I truly don't know how, but I guess the best thing to do is spend what time you have left with her. Make those last moments worth it.
We'll be here for you, Jrod.

Therapy. Professionals, not friends. We're here for you and are more than happy to lend a shoulder, but we aren't qualified to give advice. All I can tell you is that it helps, don't be afraid to reach out to someone. Much love to you.

Re: How to handle
I know two people who have recently lost a parent and they had the time to come to terms with it which is by no means easy. As bad as it is, you get the opportunity to say goodbye. It'll be hard, but you gotta think that a lot of people don't get that opportunity in these situations. It's all around a heartbreaking experience though and I am here for you as are the rest of the peeps here. Message me if you want man.
