Hiroshi Tanahashi Appreciation Thread

The Current IWGP Intercontinental Champion is arguably one of the best wrestlers in the world today. He's 7 time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, 2 time IWGP Intercontinental Champion, and a 3 time NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion. He's also held many CMLL Championships as well. He's very much the "Stone Cold" of New Japan since his growing popularity helped New Japan Pro Wrestling grow and expand during their early 2000's slump.
Tanahashi defends his Intercontinental Championship in the Main Event at NJPW Power Struggle on November 5th. It's also refreshing to see a midcard title being elevated to Main Event status on a PPV. This something we wouldn't see in WWE today.

I used to be really high on Cody and he's obviously talented, but he's not in the same league as the majority of the top "indy" guys.
