In some of the older Smackdown and Smackdown vs. Raw games, the season mode would keep going and sometimes new storylines would appear.

This was most likely to happen if you switched the characters you were playing as. This was especially true in SvR 2007.

Titles attached to shows can be vacated. This is was not a feature in previous games, unless perhaps you used a workaround I’m not aware of. You could not have a title, such as the United States Championship, as the Midcard title on a show and have it be vacated. You could only do so if it was not an active, slotted title.

I don't listen to critics of any kind, because everyone has their own opinion, and shouldn't let an outright dickbag convince them otherwise. For instance, I've seen literally every movie critic say that the 2000's version of Fantastic Four sucks and they call them bad movies when they aren't.
