Whitewashing the Warrior

As some of you may or may not know, I'm a fan of WrestleLamia and enjoy his videos on pro wrestlers and the history behind it. He has made very well done series called Behind the Titantron too that isn't afraid to show the ugly side of the business...until now.

Recently there was video that exposed all the controversial things the Ultimate Warrior has said about homosexuals, hurricane katrina victims, bobby heenans cancer, ect. Also he questioned the hyprocisy behind the Ultimate Warrior award. WrestleLamia was then threatened with legal action if his didn't remove his "Slanderous" video about the Ultimate Warrior even though everything said about the Warrior was factual and back up with crediable sources. So of course, WrestleLamia took it down and later apologized to his followers on twitter about it.

It's bullshit like this that makes me really angry. Just a rant here guys but feel free to chime in. In my opinion, it's not right how Dana Warrior and WWE are re-writing the legacy of the Ultimate Warrior and will threaten anybody who posts anything negative about him with a lawsuit.

A legend in the business but all around a bad person from his ruthless business practices and racism. I wonder where he got that from?

All around 50/50. I think Warrior was far more despicable overall though.

i've been watching G1 (no spoilers pls) and i must say jay white and hangman page are pretty damn good. do you think they'll have a bright future in njpw?

That all depends on how well New Japan's expansion into the American market goes. But they're a talent no doubt about it. WWE will probably make another raid on their top stars soon. Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks are wanted badly once their contracts are up.
