I doubt this. Pretty sure Billy Corgan has got the final say who gets to be his champion. Regardless, Cody is a great choice as he'll bring more attention to the NWA overall. They need as much exposure as possible if they ever hope to be seen as something more than a backwater promotion.

Maurie my boy! You surprise me! Who smartened you up to the prowrestling business? How very old school of you wanting to see the wrestlers sell more in the ring. I'm impressed and I agree with you. Brandi was probably the worse no-seller of the night taking an elbow drop to the back and coming back out later like she wasn't hurt at all.

I feel like some things can be shaken off but as soon as Kenny kicked out of that fear factor I knew he was gonna win and brush off everything else.

Besides that match I caught some of Lethal and the end of the battle royal which were ehh.

Easy 10/10 Show. There Wasnt A Bad Minute. MOTN For Me Was Janela Vs Page, Shoutout To Chelsea Green Holy Fuck She Is Incredible. And Joey Ryan, Of Course. And The “No-Selling” Is Modern Day Wrestling, That’s Why This Event And Stuff Like NXT Is So Great, Edge Of The Seat Action.

Also. Penelope Ford Is Amazing.

Only time NXT has excessively no sold something without there being a blood feud is with that last Gargano and Ciampa match.

I like my matches to tell a story and have the wrestlers sell big moves like they got shot. But now we have spot monkeys that go through their moves as fast as they can and not have it mean anything when they pop right back up.

Overall pretty decent show though. I'd watch another one.

MOTN for me was Scurll vs Okada, I'd give it a 8/10. The production was great, some of the matches didn't deliver like I thought they would.
