Streamable (Clip vids up to 10 mins long)
Windows Movie Maker (really good for the simple stuff/splicing together a lot of clips)
Sony Vegas (if you can get your hands on it)

Tips:
Clipping Masks in Photoshop (Very handy, and can turn a C- idea into a C+)
