Backstage before Genesis airs

Josh Wolf is walking down the corridor towards the locker room door, he stops, knocks, and calls out.

Josh Wolf
Hey, Reece! Are you ready in there?

Reece Ortiz
Uh... Yeah, just a bit confused...

Josh Wolf
What do you mean? Hold on, I'm coming in.

Wolf pulls on the door handle and enters the room, the camera follows as he walks up to Reece who's sat on the bench, sporting a new look.



Josh Wolf
You know, I still can't get used to seeing your hair this short. So, what's up?

Reece Ortiz
Well I was trying to figure out the first clue on this treasure hunt you set up for me, but I'm confused, it says that I need to go back to where it all began, but I don't have the time to catch a flight to Montreal.

Josh Wolf
I don't wanna burst your bubble here, but I didn't set anything up

Reece Ortiz
You didn't? Then who left this envelope in my bag?

Josh Wolf
I have no idea.

Reece Ortiz
So let's find out! I love things like this. So, if it wasn't you, then this first clue probably isn't about going back home, so what could it mean?

Josh Wolf
Well, if we're gonna do this, we need to figure out who would leave you a crypted treasure hunt..

Reece Ortiz
The only person I can think of is Xander, but he wouldn't do something like this, would he?

Josh Wolf
Probably not, but let's say it was Xander, where did it all begin with you two?

Ortiz suddenly lights up.

Reece Ortiz
It's Adam. We have to go to the locker room!

Reece looks incredibly proud of himself, but Josh just shakes his head and points to the lockers behind him.



Josh Wolf
Reece, we're already in the locker room

Reece Ortiz
Ohhh right yeah I guess we are.

Josh Wolf
So which one was Adams locker?

Wolf walks over to the lockers behind him.

Reece Ortiz
I remember it was next to mine, but I can't remember if it was to the left or the right...

Josh Wolf
Ok well, we've got two choices here. Either Angelo Babos or Joe Dirte.

Reece Ortiz
Adam left after Babos started, so it's got to be Joe, right?

Wolf turns around and looks for something to break into the locker with, but while he's searching, he hears a loud noise and turns around to see Reece bashing the door in with the handle of a tennis racket.

Josh Wolf
What are you doing??

Ortiz pulls the door of its hinges, and it falls to the ground, the camera catches it as it falls, and we see it was plastered with a huge picutre of George King.

Reece Ortiz
Ok, even I think that's creepy.

Josh Wolf
So what's in there?

Reece Ortiz
You mean other than the creepy shrine? Not much. There's an open packet of gum, some kind of cologne, probably the same one George wears... Oh and... An envelope!!

Ortiz pulls out the envelope and hands it to Wolf.

Reece Ortiz
What does it say??

Josh Wolf
Nothing, it just has a QR code. I guess we should scan it?

Reece Ortiz
Way ahead of you.

Reece pulls out his phone and scans the code, the screen lights up and opens up a map, with a red cross marked outside the arena.

Reece Ortiz
Let's go!

The camera cuts away and cuts back to the outside where Reece and Wolf continue their search.



Reece Ortiz
Ok so according to this, we're almost there.

Josh Wolf
Almost where? This is the car park...

Reece Ortiz
It says that there should be like a little shed just around the corner, that's where we need to go.



They continue to walk until they spot the shed.

Reece Ortiz
I see it!

Reece sprints off towards the shed

Reece Ortiz
I can see something inside, it looks like a treasure chest!

Ortiz doesn't wait for Wolf, he enters the shed and quickly walks up to the chest, the only thing in the whole room. He kneels down in front of it and lifts the lid, a note is attached to the inside.

Congratulations you win! Enjoy your prize!

Reece Ortiz
Is that it?

Reece searches through the chest, but it's just full of tiny scraps of  fabric.

Reece Ortiz
Josh!!... What a let down...

Completely disappointed by what he thought was a romantic gesture by Xander, Reece is left feeling deflated, and doesn't notice the door opening behind him.

???
Sorry to disappoint you, but don't worry, we didn't forget about you.

Startled, Ortiz turns around and is met with a cane shot to the skull.

???
Oh, what's the matter? Don't you like your prize?

Blood starts to flow down the face of the Antagonist, he opens his eyes and sees one of his Validation opponents, Harvey Hasting stood over him with a cane in his hands.

Harvey Hastings
Stefan!

Harvey calls his son who drags the dead weight of Josh Wolf into the Shed behind him.

Harvey Hastings
Good job, son.

Stefan leaves Wolfs body next to Ortiz, and Father and Son go to work, repeatedly caning both men, leaving both battered, bloody and bruised.

Stefan Hastings
We are the best tag team in CMV, this is our time!

Stefan swings his can one last time, connecting with Reece's skull yet again. He slumps down the ground, a bloody mess.

Harvey Hastings
Have you got it?

Stefan Hastings
Yep

The hastings walk out of the shed, and Stefan pulls out a padlock as his father closes the door. Stefan places the padlock over the bolt of the door, and closes it. The two men leave the area, and all that can be heard is their laughter, as The Reblleion lie unconscious inside the now locked shed.
