Self thoughts.

All this waiting and the time has come. It has brought me here. It’s time, time to show the world and everyone on the roster that I am back, that I still can hang with this new young generation of wrestlers. I’ve waited for this moment, for far to long and now I am here. If I don’t capitalize now, my legacy may never be written. TPP Internet Champion, 2x Flyweight Champion. Everything down the drain. Focus! Your time is now.

Ring... Ring... Ring... Ring.

“Hey babe.” Martinez says as he picks up his cellphone to a much familiar voice.

“Hey my love. How are you doing?” She asked in a worried tone.

“I’m okay. Just sitting here in the locker room organizing my gear.” He replies as he continues to take his gear out his bag and place them in his locker.

“Are you sure you want to do this? Your not as young as you use to be, and you never fully recovered from your injuries. You should take some more time too yourself, and not rush your comeback.” She explained clearly concerned about her husband well being.

“Listen, I can no longer lay back and wait. I’m tired of sitting on the couch looking at what use to be ‘Mr. Infamous’. Old memorabilia, pictures, videos and championships. That no longer hold value. Wrestling runs through my blood and I crave the excitement, the adrenaline rush and THE GOLD.” He explained as he slammed the locker shut.

“I understand, and I will be right here behind you supporting you every minute of the way. I just don’t know if I can see you get hurt again.” She said as her voice cracks, sounding as if she wanted to cry.

“Don’t worry baby. I will be find, I’m back home. I’m back where I should be, that’s on the mat wrestling. I see you when I get home. I love you.” He said as he hung up the phone and grabbed his bag from the floor and walks out of the locker room.
