Three Years of Waiting

As Crossfire comes to a close, a small video cuts off the announcers. The footage shows Josh Wolf, sitting peacefully in his locker room. He was pondering words to say, scratching at the stubble that grew on his face.

Kent... You're probably wondering why it took so long for me to respond to you... Answer is, I didn't have the words to truly express my thoughts on you. I spent two weeks thinking of something witty and complicated; but then reality hit me.

Wolf slowly stood to his feet, the camera following his face.

Wolf

I don't need to make this complex and intelligent-sounding... Because we both know that this isn't some "first time" deal. We have fought before...

The screen changed to footage from three years ago.

Wolf chuckled softly.

Remember that Ryan? Three long years ago, you were the champ... And you got crushed by a rookie. A man who at that point had been the most decorated wrestler in CMV history, fell to a twenty-two year old man whose only claim to fame at that point was the Rising Star Championship...

You knew good and well that you should've beaten me, Ryan. But you didn't. Because you are weak...

At Point Break, history is going to repeat itself. But this time, you will be fighting the God of the Wolves.

The camera cut to static, ending the show.
