As CMV: No Remorse rolls on the PA system blares the notable theme of Marcus Akane. The crowd cheers the newcomer as he makes his way on to the stage, looking around the arena Akane walks to the ring. Gesturing for a mic Akane gets handed one and looks around at the fans in attendance once more before speaking.

Akane

There is one rule that I have lived by every day since I threw my first punch, and that is to always show grit show determination in the face of adversity... but lately it just feels like I have been doing the opposite, you see when I was over at Intensity it felt like I found my place, I felt like I could walk out to that ring and beat anyone on the roster. My answer to Eric Matthews open challenge after my 2nd week in this company shows that, and after taking him to the limit I proved that to the fans, to the guys in the back and most importantly to myself. I started stringing together win after win and then, I was drafted to Unmatched... and somewhere along the way I lost that drive, I lost that magic that I had, and it was in my darkest stage that i realised that it didn't matter whether or not I win or lose as long as I show the resilience that I built myself on then nothing can stop me.

The crowd cheers Akane on as he opens up to the CMV Universe.

Akane

Now lately I have been coming up short, I got gifted a chance at becoming the #1 contender, gifted the chance to become the next CMV World Champion and i wasted it. I heard a lot of people saying it just wasn't my time, some others said i was just unlucky. Look guys i appreciate the gesture but to be completely honest I just wasn't good enough and then on Unmatched I won by Count out, you see that's not my style, I want a righteous win, I NEED to get pushed to my limit, pushed within an inch of my life to finally unlock my true potential. Speaking of which, I might as well get to the reason i'm out here, At the next Unmatched, i'm challenging anyone back there, anybody that wants to push me to my breaking point to have a match with me, but be warned, I will push back.

Akane gestures towards the Stage waiting for someone to answer his challenge.

Kurasuke’s music hitting the speakers gives the fans more reason to cheer as the beloved, mysterious masked man seems set to make his way into the arena. A portal opens up behind Akane and it is indeed Kurasuke who steps out of it. Akane whips around to find himself face to fa--mask with one of Cole Savage’s most trusted friends everyone in the arena is watching to see this plays out.

You...you are not like the others. Your heart...pure. Your actions...noble.

Mr. Akane, if I may, I must say that it is a pleasure to have you on this brand for you are something special. Too many men let pride get in the way. When they lose they blame it on everybody but themselves, but when they win it is always all because of them. Men fail and they let themselves become monsters as they try to redeem themselves and in the process become irredeemable.

But not you.

Kurasuke begins walking in circles around Akane.

Your failures...you take them and you own them even when it may hurt to do so. Some allow the pain the cripple them while you know that one day that pain will help you grow and transform into a  greater being. Few want to admit that they have room to grow--but life is about letting your experiences shape you day by day...there will never be a time when you’re perfect--but there will always be a moment when you’re better than the rest.

This match that you request. It your first step to showing that you can be better...one greuling altercation after the next.

Mr. Akane, that is very admirable and in that regard you remind me of my friend Leo Cruz. A lot of people ask me why I choose to stand by his side, and my answer is always the same: There is nothing more that I respect in a man than nobility and honor. Mr. Cruz has the heart of the warrior. From the beginning of his career until now, he has never wavered in his ways--always fighting until the bitter end. When they knock him down, he gets up, and he fights harder than he did before.

When he lost to Sunshine, he got up. When he lost inside of the Elimination Chamber, he got up. And now after being left in limbo, he will get up, and he will accept your challenge. Together you two will show what happens when men with nothing left to lose--men with massive chips on their shoulders--are told they can go out inside of this ring and prove their worth.

Kurasuke pauses as the crowd bursts into cheers at the promise of a thrilling match.

Akane steps towards Kurasuke and the crowd falls silent as his face shows nothing of his intent, Akane raises his hand and extends it to Kurasuke. The crowd erupts into cheers as Kurasuke follows suit and shakes Akane's hand leaving it as the final scene and No Remorse continues.
