A Year in the Making

Elijah is gifted the championship by the referee. He snatches it like a kid sighting candy. The “Yes” chants shake the arena. Elijah can’t believe his eyes. He can’t believe that over a year ago he was a losing to CMV alumni, Mike Grizzly. Now he’s the Alpha World Champion. Tears stream down his face. The boyhood dream has come true. The prophecy has been fulfilled! Elijah is handed a microphone while be showered with “You Deserve It” chants. Elijah wipes his face and falls back to his knees.

Guys… This feeling can’t be-
The tears start again. Elijah gets back up to his feet.

This feeling can not be duplicated. You will never feel this sensation of becoming a piece of history more than once. The first time is always the hardest. Holding a belt has been foreign to me for a long time. You guys broke me. You guys changed my name. You guys brought me happiness when I came out here. I know i t was hard to, but some of you forgave me after the darkness of CMV drove me power hungry. You all showed me the greatest thing possible. You showed me love.

This is Episode #99 right? So on Episode #100 we see the celebration. This time, we’re ready for anyone trying to kill our vibe. This quest for gold, for meaning, has been the best thing I could ever do with my time. I didn’t do this myself though. I don’t care if it’s hundreds, thousands, or even tens of people in the arena, I’m going to be Elijah Stewart when I get in this ring. I will be a threat. More than anything I will be light. So as long as I hold this belt, we are Alpha World Champion. Because winning the title is only half the distance to going down in history. We will fight forever!
The crowd cheers in agreement. Elijah paces the ring to collect his thoughts and take it all in.
Elijah.
Clowns, bears, Kilqs, demons, thugs, and all the above can step up. But they’ll all be met with Good Vibes. So let’s all rejoice while this moment is present.
Elijah’s music continues. His friends from the back are coming down to congratulate him. The Bloody Brit, Pierre Thompson, El Jefe, Super Gato, Jay Davis, Shanaz Andoni, and even the guy he hit backstage. Pierre and Chris Andrews hold Elijah up high on their shoulders. The fans in attendance give Elijah a standing ovation. Confetti falls, and Elijah has become, theoretically, “The Good Vibes Man.”

That match should of been the main event tbh. This promo would of been perfect to end the show. It was fantastic and filled with emotion which is the best type when dealing with a face. Good shit Maurie. *****
