Right after the newly announced Number One Contender gets a win over Ryan Kent, we see him walking backstage with a big grin on his face and a sweat soaked towel around his neck. After so long of fighting to redeem himself he's finally earned his shot at the Undisputed Championship.

Schmidty smiles and nods as Lisa Evans walks onto the scene with a microphone in hand.

Schmidty I hope you don't mind if I ask you a few questions.

Schmidty
Go right ahead.

He said, with pure excitement in his tone.

Before she can continue, her eyes widen and Schmidty is blindsided by PERCY SIMMONS! Knocking him forward with a vicious forearm to the back of the head following by a few brutal stomps on the back of his neck and head. Lisa screams but the vengeful ringing sound in Percy's head drowns it out. He brings Schmidty up to his feet before tossing him into a traveling crate. Not giving him a moment to rest, he picks him back up, turns him around and slams him into another traveling crate. Other employees stand around to watch, awaiting the arrival of the officials while Percy kneels down, staring at his work. Schmidty, in a seat position against the crate flickers his eyes only to see Percy stand back and slam his knee straight into his face. Lights out. Schmidty's out of it with a large cut above his right eye where the knee landed. Finally, the officials arrive just as Percy's done. His hands are up and he smiles at his work as he walks away.
