NXT Ep. 12 Card

It's seems almost official that Blizzard is one of the new members of X-Gen, Triple H has even come out to the ring to make sure his match goes smoothly. He goes up against a newcomer in Universe mode, who snagged a win last week against the R 'n' L Express giving him some good momentum going into this match. Triple H will need to ensure Blizzard does not underestimate his opponent here tonight, otherwise it could end in an embarrassing loss for Blizzard.

The former NXT Champion is being forced to tag up with his fierce rival Eric Matthews here tonight, both of these men will need to keep their emotions under control here tonight in order to avoid a loss, the friction between the two opponents could allow Wesson & Smith to grab a win and gain some momentum going into their match at NXT Slammiversary for the NXT Tag Team Championships. All four of these men need this here tonight.

The X-Gen representative of NXT is in action tonight against the current number one contender for the NXT European Championship, Abraham Beef. It's likely that Duo Maxwell will get the win here tonight, however Abraham beef will surely put a good fight, he's hit somewhat of a stride as of late and putting on the performances of his life, will his momentum come to a halt as it clashes with the force of Duo Maxwell?

Mercer has remained unbeaten so far in NXT, and is looking towards his biggest challenge in the form of American Justice in just three weeks time at NXT Slammiversary, the stipulation being, a submission match. Tonight the anonymous NXT General Manager has given Mercer the opportunity to test his skills in a submission match tonight on NXT, against the newcomer, Richard Thunder, who got a big win last week against the number one contenders for the tag team championships. It'll be a huge push if he can end the unbeaten streak of Mercer tonight it what could well be a brutal submission match.

As booked earlier today by the anonymous NXT General Manager, Bryan Novak will indeed defend his title at every turn on the way to NXT Slammiversary, tonight against Big Bad, who's looking to really get his hands dirty here in NXT, not yet able to pull a string of wins together, could this be the night for Big bad? Or will Bryan Novak reign supreme.

Some would argue that the NXT champion has it easier than the European Champion in the lead up to NXT Slammiversary, as of course, they are both being tested by the anonymous NXT General Manager. While Ryan Kent is not being forced to defend his title every week in the same way that Novak is, he certainly is being forced against the more menacing opponents. Tonight he goes one on one against American Justice, who's looking to get back on top of the world leading into his match against Mercer in three weeks time.
