A New Prospect

Raymond Royce is sitting in his office, going over paperwork involving something. Behind him is a new bulletin board, which has Rose Punish and Morgan Black posted up. Under each one is a 'Win-Loss' column, and he has small photos of both Rose's wins and the win and loss of Morgan under the respective columns. His day is interrupted as his assistant opens the door.

Assistant

Mister Royce, someone is here to see you.

Raymond Royce

Do they have an appointment?

Assistant

No sir.

Raymond Royce

So tell them to piss off until they either make an appointment, or develop enough talent that he appears worth my while.

The assistant goes to leave, but stops and thinks about it, before speaking up.

Assistant

Its regarding CMV, sir. He says he has a resume you don't want to miss.

Raymond sits back in his chair, a disappointed look on his face. He shakes his head before opening a drawer on his desk and pulling out more papers.

Raymond Royce

He has three minutes.

The assistant nods her head, and opens the door for the visitor. He enters the room suited up, and sits down in the chair in front of Royce's desk. Not one does Raymond ever look up at him.

Raymond Royce

You have three minutes. What do you want?

? ? ? ? ?

You know exactly what I want. And please--

He reaches out for a handshake.

? ? ? ? ?

--Oliver Smith. I am interested in a contract with Royce Incorporated. You are the biggest in sports manager in the business and siding with you gets me what we both want: money and fame.

Raymond looks at the hand uninterested, and doesn't shake it. Instead, he lifts his head up and sits back in his chair.

Raymond Royce

Why should I sign you?

Oliver reaches into his bag and pulls out a thick folder, placing it on the table as gently as possible.

Oliver Smith

Here's my resume. I'll give you time to look it over it. You'll know where to find me.

With that, Oliver turns and leaves the room, the folder still sitting across from Raymond. He stares it for a moment before shaking his head and going back to his work.
