The Secret Temper of Elijah Stewart

Following his wasted opportunity at a Alpha World Championship match, Elijah sits on a stool in the locker room. His hands shake. He stares at the wall with eyes filled with some type of anger, sadness, or regret. Maybe all three. But even with a clear expression that showed he didn't want to be bothered, it didn't stop Mac Thompson from trying to get more information on what's going on with him.

Mac Thompson
Elijah, tonight you-

Elijah was caught off guard but almost instantly turned to Mac when he heard the voice behind him. He rubs his eye and clears his throat before Mac can continue.

Elijah
Oh, sorry Mac. What's up man?

Mac Thompson
Tonight you had a BIG match, and those have been coming your way quite frequently. I wanted to know why didn't you try and stop Luger when he was at the top of the ladder? You were dancing while he was unhooking the briefcase. He gained that opportunity because you weren't stopping him.

Elijah
Well Mac, the fans were feeling be as you saw once again I stole the match in that with that dive onto Frank and Valentine from the top of the ladder. I was feeling the fans at that point. The adrenaline just gets to you in a way you can't control man. Energy of the crowd will take over your body. When i started dancing, I was giving the fans their money's worth. They paid for entertainment so I gave it to them Mac. But not until it was too late I somehow missed this buff Super Saiyan sprinting up the ladder. That jump messed up my peripheral vision. Once i heard that music I knew it was over. That's all on me.

Mac Thompson
And after another loss, that I would assume was hard to take, what's your reaction? You can't go on taking big losses to the entire locker room..

Elijah
It's no big deal man, just another loss. That means another comeback story. Don't worry Mac. I plan to bounce back pretty soon dude.

Mac leaves the locker room and closes the door. He realizes he forgot to pick up his phone from the table. Peeking through the crack in the door, Mac can see Elijah start to scratch his head. Mac was pushing it with the questions. Elijah didn't like this kind of intentional push that Mac was trying to force. Elijah stands up from the stool and you can see that look in his eyes again.

He moves the stool to the corner instead. But right as he places it down he lifts it back up and chucks it at the wall making a dent. Elijah breathes heavily and holds his head with both arms. Not so good vibes from Elijah following this loss it seemed. He went into his bag and pulled out a book. And wrote a tally in it. The book was filled with cities that CMV had been to in the past 6 months. Looks like this isn't the first time this has happened. An angry tear streams down before Elijah wipes his face and marches out the locker room.
