A Fallen Soldier

After a sad ending to Deathwish, the former Alpha World Champion, Elijah Stewart is being carried in the arms of Tim LaFave. The beatdown at the end of the match between all three Kliq members had to have left a chunk of exhaust and damage in Elijah's body. Tim struggles carrying him down the ramp, so he gently lets him down at the stage and holds Elijah up while up til they reach the steel steps. Tim lets Elijah finish his walk into the ring. Elijah lays down in the middle of the ring while looking up to the ceiling.

This was the last sight you all saw on Sunday of me. Just looking straight up at the ceiling. I remember seeing that exact light while i laid here paralyzed on the mat. One month of me feeling like I've secured my spot here, but nope. The numbers stacked against my team. There was actually nothing we could’ve done to outsmart those three guys. They have the brains, but we brought the heart. I didn’t kick out because I was scared of losing the belt. I kicked out because I was scared of losing-

Elijah closes his eyes and drops his arms on the mat. He lifts them back up to speak.

I'm scared of losing your patience with me. I’ve shown that I can win, but I’ve also shown that I can lose even more. I apologize to all of you who have to see me like this and to those of you who don’t wanna see me at all. Not only did I lose the belt to the worst guy possible, but later that same night, MLP would gain it off of him. So not only do I lose my pride, my title, and my relevance. But I lose at this wrestling thing as a whole. The more I give you all my hoorah speeches and talk about rising to the top I end up getting my feet cut off from below me. No time for words right now, it’s time for action. And until I’m physically able to compete, I’ll be in the back waiting for my opportunity.
