After the M.O.T.N candidate at Purgatory against Matsuda Tanaka and Jaquan Shay, Jaquan would slowly get up to his feet, meeting Tanaka in the middle of the ring. Handshakes were exchanged, and Tanaka gave the show-floor to J. He’d get a microphone from beside the ring for his speech.

“Honestly I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to face Matsuda Tanaka once more. I hope and wish for the best of him and I hope that one day, we’ll have another match for the century. NOW, onto bigger things.”

The crowd chant “J-Dub” around the arena, as Jaquan stands in the middle of the ring, smiling. He knew this is where he was meant to be. And so with a thunderous boom in his voice;

“D’ANGELO PRINCE!! You think you slipped MY mind these past few weeks? Nah, son. I’m here and I’m calling YOU out. No more hiding, no more stipulations. I want you in an Iron Man Deathmatch!! Because after tonight, win or lose, I’m coming for YOU!”

Jaquan would look pissed off, knowing how D’Angelo scoffed him to the side like a piece of paper and finally, after months of waiting, Jaquan called him out for his honorary rematch at Ascendance. Jaquan would drop the mic and walk to the back as the heat of the crowd would give off throughout the arena.
