A New Challenger Has Appeared!

Just as Genesis #152 is coming onto the air, even before the intro video and pyro, we get a close up shot of a smiling face, belonging to one, Pat LaFave. When the camera pans out we can see that he's standing by with The Cleaner, Braxton Sutter, the two looking at something on Pat's phone and giggling like school girls. The cameraman is able to position himself in such a way that we're peering over LaFave's shoulder, a gif on loop of last week's main event, specifically the bit where Pat low blows Tops Newsome to retain his Alpha World title. However, this little celebration is cut-short when Cass and Genesis mediary, Dave Turner, come clapping down the hallway, instantly putting a sour frown on the champion's face. Mama Cass looks down at the belt wrapped firmly around her ex-husband's waist and smirks, then passing a glare over to Sutter who growls at her like he's a guard dog only being held back by his leash.
Cass
Pat, nice to see that you're in such a good mood.
Pat
How could I not be after I not only survived TWO of your attempts to dethrone me, but I DOMINATED that punk, Reece, that sock puppet, Tops, and that little dumb fish, Jefe!
Turner lets a giggle slip which Big Daddy jumps on.
Pat

Oh, nothing. Except for the fact where you think you "dominated" those men. You ESCAPED them by the skin of your teeth, only standing here right now with that championship because you're a SNAKE!
Pat seems almost insulted at the fact but is cut-off by Cass.
Cass
Listen, we're here because we have another challenger lined up for you tonight.
Pat
Haha, woooooow, yeah big shocker! TWO weeks in a row, I retain MY title in TRIPLE THREATS, and now I'm forced to do it again, huh?
Sutter

Pat
No, no, no, Big Brax, you know what, let's hear it, come on then, is it a fatal 4-way this time? A six-pack challenge, maybe? Oh, I know! A gauntlet match!!!
Turner
Nope, just a straight up, old school, one on one match. Although this one will be No DQ ...
Cass
And your large friend here, will be banned from ringside.
This makes Pat laugh loudly for about a minute or so until he calms down and shakes his head.

I didn't need Sutter inside of the Cell at Exodus. I didn't need him last week! What makes you think that I need him tonight? Anything goes? HA! Guess I can use old reliable yet again! *looking at his arm, the ball splitter*
Cass and Dave share a happy look, smiling from ear to ear.
Cass
Yes! You can! And your opponent, well, he can use THAT!
She points behind Pat as before he can react a strong hand is placed upon his shoulder and spins him around. As Pat begins to speak that same hand is thrust into his face hushing the champion. That hand belongs to none other than the man who was just announced as his next challenger, the man that started the downfall of Jacob Ziegler himself, Primetime Pierre Thompson! Pierre removes his shades and stares into the eyes of Braxton who helps his boss by yanking him off to the side before squaring up to The Big Dog. Sutter is the one to back down when Pat tugs at his pants, besetting The Giant to help him up and he does. Pierre then steps back and laughs as Pat is held up by his right hand man.
Thompson
Why so serious Pat? Were you expecting somebody else? Now we've never met in person so we don't know each other but I'm damn sure you know of me. At the same time Patrick. I know all about you. See now, you're the only member of your family that I have never had contact with which means you don't know what I am capable of around these parts. But I've been watching you, scouting if you may say. There's not a trick up your sleeve that can save you tonight. See you in the ring, Champ.
Shades back on, if he had a collar he'd surely pop it, the former International and United States champion gives Pat a wink and then takes his leave. The shot zooms in on LaFave's face which is strife with worry, is this his last night as Alpha World champion?
