Absolute Demise

We are taken to a backstage area where we see Schmidty sitting in a chair, beneath a spotlight within a dark room. Among the spotlight, you can see the bottom halves of The Purge standing behind him. He keeps the Global Championship firmly on his right shoulder as he stares into the camera.

For a long time, this place has drifted away from the glory it once brought to the wrestling world. From lacking of character, to terrible champions, to ridiculous booking......this place hasn't been the same for too damn long. Then one man decided to restore it. You're looking at the champion who'll make CMV the powerhouse of the wrestling world once more. I am the leader this place deserves. The leader that this place needs. My ruthlessness and natural instinct is necessary to make this restoration happen.

Ace Reeves, you are a part of the problem. You're disloyalty to this company sickens me. A true champion will die with his company's logo on his back. No others to taint the glory of the brand he's supposed to represent, just one. Yet you among many others want to hop back and forth to whatever company decides to give you the spotlight. Well, I will put an end to that. You, Wolf, and so many others I don't care to name have lost the meaning of prestigious. You don't deserve to hold this strap. You're not a true champion.

You call me the bad guy and I will accept it because sadly that's what you gotta be these days to save what you love. I am saving this company from the disease that you and so many of carried through my doors. You pathetic twitter warriors don't know how to be true champions. For the time being, I can set an example for this show. I will use you as the final lesson to teach the generation beneath me what it means to be a real champion. And what happens to frauds. I accept your challenge Ace, and come Ascendance, I will brutalize you, not because I hate you, but because I hate the idea of you. I hate what you represent. I won't just be defeating you but I will kill the era you brought in my absence.

And with that, Schmidty stares intently in the camera while it fades to commercial.
