The Time Is Now | T & Lee Prepare

Tim LaFave is seen in a private locker room with Kevin Lee as they prepare for their upcoming title match. Lee was swinging a pair nunchucks around his body, one in each hand, with the grace of the late Bruce Lee. LaFave was on the phone on the other side of the room...

LaFave: Alright, Paul... Be careful out there tonight. Keep your eyes peeled.

LaFave turns off his phone, bends over and begins to rummage through his dufflebag full of his gear.

Lee: Now is the time, Timothy. Make or break. We have won our respective matches over the last two weeks. We know we can beat them individually; the true and final test is beating them together.

While still rummaging through his bag, Tim speaks without looking at Kevin.

LaFave: In a cell no less.

Lee: Indeed... Are you ready?

Tim pulls out his "Against All Odds" T-shirt in one hand and stands up. Turning to Lee with gusto.

LaFave: This is my first time in a Cell; but Tim is ready for anything.

Lee: Your courage is admirable.

LaFave: Thanks, Lee.

Lee: What is the plan?

LaFave: Keep an eye out for eachother. Don't be too far away. I wanna be sure, at any given time, I can reach out and break the pin.

Lee: I'll do what I can, will you?

LaFave: Don't I always, brother?

Lee laughed.

Lee: Of course.

LaFave: So what about your head? Are you going to be okay?

Lee: Kevin Lee fears no man, no animal and no injury. The damage to my head is nothing but a myth. If I believe it's not there. Then it is not there.

LaFave pauses for a moment, looking at his shirt in his hand, then back to his tag-team brother.

LaFave: Kevin?

Kevin stops and smoothly swings both nunchuks under his arms bringing his training to a momentary halt.



Lee: What is it?

LaFave: Win, lose or draw. Let's go out there and do some damage! Thanks for joining me on this journey. I couldn't have tagged with better man.

Lee: Your skills, too, are quite amazing. Thank you for agreeing to partner with me. I feel you have learned much from me as I have learned much from you.

LaFave: Couldn't have said it better myself.

Lee: Get dressed for we have battle to win.

Lee begins to swing both nunchucks again wildy but with a hidden concentration that showed he was in complete control.

LaFave nods confidently, returns to his bag and continues to rummage through his wrestling attire as the scene ends.
