CMV's Top Ten Edition One
These rankings are judged from Stone Ocean to Supremacy #53. This is my first time ever trying something like this, hope it came out well.
1. Janet Torre
W - Stone Ocean Woman's Championship Chamber.
W - Supremacy #52 Teamed with Amber Reed Versus CNH-POL Connection
Janet Torre is the only singles champion to have won both matches they had, Janet Torre survived and won the chamber WHILE being the first woman to enter it and then a night or two later got the pin in a tag match against an established tag team (even if they had some issues) like she didn't have any wear and tear at all. In this brand war Janet Torre isn't hitting Zieglers with chairs or slamming people on ladders, she's just focused and taking down anything that could be in her way. Torre had a longer path to this championship and now that she has it and the confidence and determination to always be at the top, I'd bet my house and the house of everyone in my extended family that this isn't just a lucky streak this is the new standard. The only thing that awaits is destruction.
2. Brett Angel
W - Stone Ocean Versus Shay Hoxton, International Championship.
L - Supremacy #53 Versus Jacob Ziegler. International Championship [retained by DQ]
Records play a factor in this ranking but how you're being presented and even more so what you're doing in those matches play a big factor in the ranking too. Brett Angel lost to Jacob Ziegler but all that loss did was make Brett Angel look more dangerous and calculating because that L he obtained came after he possibly injured Jacob Ziegler with a steel chair to the upper quad that Ziegler didn't pop up from. Kept the title and didn't lose any momentum. With the lack of info about Ziegler's state the worst possible situation is that Ziegler isn't in the match, the best possible situation is that Ziegler is still going to hurt from that unprotected shot come that match. Angel might of just tipped the scale heavily in Supremacy's favor and didn't take any damage that'll matter doing it. Records don't matter when you're playing 5D Chess.
3. Shay Hoxton
L - Stone Ocean Versus Brett Angel, International Championship.
L - Supremacy #52 Versus Pierre Thompson, assaulted by Josh Wolf afterwards BUT got his revenge on Crossfire.
W - Supremacy #53 Versus Josh Wolf.
The Undisputed Champion had a rougher start these three weeks so far but managed to save some face by not letting Wolf get away with his attack and winning the TLC match on the next Supremacy. That matches loser had to begin the gauntlet match so come Validation, the senator is in a better spot than the man he beat. Not a fantastic period of time but the big belt and getting a major win for Supremacy keeps him in the top three. Bad times that just rolled into each other but he caught himself and did something big.
4. George King
W - Stone Ocean Chamber, Global Championship Contendership.
W - Supremacy #53 Tag Team Victory Versus The S&S Bronecction.
Very big first win in a chamber, possibly important momentum gained from another win for Team Crossfire. King is on fire and there's not a single decent-sized stain on the three weeks he had. Depending on how Validation does go, George King could be the first non-champion in the top three if he just performs the way he's been performing.
5. Josh Wolf
Attacked Shay Hoxton after loss to Pierre Thompson.
W - Crossfire #35 Versus Xander Slate. Attacked by Shay Hoxton afterwards.
L - Supremacy #53 Versus Shay Hoxton.
The Global Champion can either gain three spots upward or lose two spots backward depending entirely on how he performs at Validation. Crossfire started hot for him after defeating Xander Slate but then the next week he had to face the biggest slap across the face possible. First an Air Raid Siren off the top of a ladder then whenever his brain started working again the fact he'd have to start the match at Validation against however many people or maybe only one depending on what happens. The big win came at the cost of a big loss. Even knowing all of that this is Josh Wolf so he's still going to fight until there's nothing left.
6. Jacob Ziegler
L - Stone Ocean Chamber, Global Championship Contendership.
W - Crossfire #35 Versus Rhys Matthews
W - Supremacy #53 Versus Brett Angel, International Championship. [won by dq, no title.]
Poor Jacob Ziegler won the match that would of elevated him all the way to number two or possibly one the issue is that he won that match by getting seriously hurt by a steel chair in front of the referee. He beat a world champion but didn't gain the entire reason to have a title match. All prayers to Ziegler to be able to compete and compete well at Validation but no matter how pissed off he might of gotten at that outcome if his legs are damaged, they're damaged. Very good wins followed by a sour ending.
7. Pierre Thompson
L Stone Ocean Chamber, Undisputed Championship.
W - Supremacy #52 Versus Shay Hoxton
Simply put, Pierre Thompson pinned The Undisputed Champion clean (by the rules of the match) and had a good performance in the chamber. That's one big claim he has under his belt that he can cash right after Validation.
8. Chris Proudfoot
L - Stone Ocean Chamber, Global Championship
W - Crossfire #35 Versus Masoa Kage.
W - Supremacy #53 Tag Team Victory Versus The S&S Bronecction.
Pierre and Proudfoot both were contending for each other's spots but being able to say that you pinned the Undisputed Champion gave a little more value to Pierre. While Pierre pinned a champion, if Proudfoot continues his momentum he is going to have a match for a championship. While both of his wins weren't against the biggest belt holders, both were against talented people. Easiest way to put it Proudfoot just is rocking right now.
9. Ace Reeves
W - Stone Ocean Chamber, Undisputed Championship.
Brutally assaulted by TZ Mass.
Reeves had one of the biggest matches of anyone here and also one of the most impressive wins on that paperview. He got that victory by pinning TZ Mass, someone that'd be top 2 in any list that could be made about either "the most intimidating" or "the meanest" men in CMV right now. Super impressive it's a shame that came at the cost of being murdered by TZ Mass live on TV and not being seen after that and no other matches to consider.
10. Cam Harris
W - Supremacy #52 Versus Chris Adams Versus DJ Law, Triple Threat Zero G Championship Match.
Not much to say, Lance Romance and TZ Mass were competing for this spot but they ultimately got beat by Cam Harris. He defended his title, good job.
Honorable Mentions: Lance Romance, TZ Mass.
