Unchained Pre-Show Stockholder Meeting

Christopher Wright sits silently at the end of his table as various owners of CMV's stock walked in. Behind him was webcam footage of a Zoom Meeting with other stockholders along with an open telephone in front of him. With this being the company's first ever charity show, it was the perfect time to hold this meeting. Stockholders loved charity events, it normally increased stock prices and got them sweet little tax benefits from the federal government. This was the day their fucking hot wallets would get even more girthy.

Wright looked down at his paper, shuffling through them obsessively with a few beads of sweat from the heat of the office's air conditioning. He raised his head and began to rise from his desk.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to our meeting. I won't beat around the bush, CMV has been doing great.

It has been a record year in profit margins, higher than the recent lowpoints of 2020 and 2021. We have made far greater strides than I initially believed when beginning our ownership of the company. But, as we all know, there have been roadblocks.

We've been experiencing fan and streaming interruptions for the past month, we don't know who has been causing the issues but we know their movement's name.

The stockholders whispered amongst themselves for a few moments, but Wright raised his hand up to make them return their attention to him.

It is quite a concerning situation. The tag has been a top trend of social media every episode since this group started interrupting programs. But we should not worry, if we simply keep them from making their platform public, we can stifle...them.....

He stopped as the room felt slightly more dim than usual all of a sudden. He turned to the windows as a giant black fabric covered them from the natural outdoor light. The Zoom call behind him began to experience some sort of lag and static, they stockholders being replaced by streams from across the country.

One feed from Time's Square in New York showed the billboard that CMV rented out for promoting Unchained was hijacked.

The digital signs on the hotels in Las Vegas were bugged out.

Atlanta's airport flight schedule had been completely glitched out.

Each one read the same phrase.

"#Kill Your Heroes"

After a few moments, the feed glitched again. Coming back to live footage outside of CMV HQ. A giant banner draped over the front face of the building.

"Fear the Big Bad Wolf"
