The servers were cray cray, wasn't letting me play my digital games, so I went out a bought the disc version of 2k16 JUST TO STREAM and what happens literally the second I get home, I get a message from my boii saying it's working now....

Tough break man. I honestly hate the xbox 1 and I only had it since November.

You should have checked the status of Xbox via the internet, it's not you being singled out with the problem at all. Bit silly to pick up a digital copy of the game when that wasn't going to work either since it's to do with the download of games.

Everything was completely fucked a few hours ago, maybe things turned around for the better since then. From what I saw, it had multiple problems with even signing in to your account.
