A Titan Among Men (CMV.com exclusive!)

Point Break was an amazing night in sports entertainment history to say the least, bringing us some unforgettable moments and legendary match-ups! But there was more than meets the eye at the second annual pay-per-view event, starting off with a vicious assault backstage carried out by the massive duo of Desolation, Bludgeon and Trauma, who jumped the brand new CMV United States champion, Samuel Boone, mere moments after he captured the title in a brutal Armageddon Hell in a Cell match. Luckily, a returning Rhys Matthews of The New Gods was there to save the day, having his own beef with Desolation after they put him on the shelf at Schmidty's command, which was surely just what happened here tonight, Schmidty trying to get rid of his competition.

After retaining their CMV World Tag Team titles in a rather quick bout at Point Break, handing The Misfits their first tag team loss, Extreme Conditions didn't get to celebrate for very long, as the returning United Kingdom would attack them from behind! Richard Franko and Griffen Drake haven't been seen in CMV in over two years, but they certainly know how to make a splash in their return, cementing their claim early on for a shot at the Tag belts, leaving Eric Thunder and Matt Jefferson in a heap on the canvas.

To the CMV universe's chagrin, the promised thirty-minute Iron Man match between Zack Cage and Chris Andrews had to be called of at seventeen minutes, after the referee decided that Cage was unfit to continue competing, and if you saw the match, you'd know just why he made that call. The Bloody Brit celebrated his premature CMV Anarchy title defense and then headed to the back, the official calling for some aid from backstage and would receive it in the form of Tyson Cage and Troy Meyers. The two Fusion superstars would try and help Cage to the back as he was clearly nursing some sort of injury, but the former Anarchy champ was having none of it, hissing at the two and even nipping at the ref, determined to make it to the back all on his own.

In the backstage area, Chris Andrews was fresh off of that ass-kicking he just delivered to Zack Cage, when he would bump into none other than the returning, Ryan Colt, who has been signed to the Monday night Fusion roster. Looking to make his intentions well-known, Colt told The Brit like it is, saying that sooner or later, he'd be coming for the Anarchy title.

In what was certainly nothing like their first encounter, Schmidty and Paul Divine, pulled out all of the stops and then some in their co-main event bout at Point Break, but it would be The Asian Sensation who would once more emerge as the victor. But putting down the self-proclaimed "TRUE CMV United States champion" in a sanctioned match-up was apparently not enough for Japan's Biggest Export, as he summoned his boys, Mike Crimson and Sebastian Frost, down to the ring, getting that all too sweet revenge on Schmidty for all that he's done to them this past month, Divine showing us his swing with three nasty chair shots right to the chest of The Greatest Professional Wrestler on the Planet Today.

Months and months of anger and hatred had been building up inside of Bob Luger, and at Point Break, inside of the Hell in a Cell, he let it all out, following up on his father's wrestling legacy and making one of his own as he defeated Furious Frank to become to new CMV Alpha World champion! Once he got to the back, his colleagues were awaiting him with a round of applause, some slaps to the back and lastly, a handshake from his former rival turned good friend, Randy Borton. But it's not all sunshine and rainbows from here on out for Luger, as The Barbarian, Bison, will be waiting for him next month at Regicide . . .
