This. It's all well and good asking for advice and listening to the people who actually give you some but in the end this is a part of your life where you'll just need to do your own thing and carve your own way. That can either be easy or challenging based on how true you really remain to yourself which is probably the best and cheesiest thing anybody can say to you.
Also you should probably listen to your teachers a few times as well as yourself, probably.

I'm in Australia so it's sorta different. But make sure you have a good friend group, and be cool with everyone. I had a good friend group but was anti social with others until senior year. It was then I realised I was an idiot for excluding other people in the year. So yeah have good friends and be cool with everyone.

Best advice I got is to be yourself and don't get peer pressured into shit you don't wanna do. Make your studies a priority too. You don't need to fail your courses and be forced to take the same class again.
