It had been a long night. He'd finished his second job as a referee at Fusion and then gone and done his third job as night security. Long hours but he needed the money to feed six children.
It was 9 am as he got home and there was a van pulling up at his house.
The driver got out and after confirming he had the right address started to unload the contents of the van into the house.
He shut the door and breathing deeply sat down to look at the boxes.
He wasn't proud of what hed done while refereeing the match but a years supply of Nachos for a family of six went a long way to helping him sleep that night.

The man, if he could be called a man, paced up and down bare foot. He stood at 7 feet 1 and weighed nearly 450 pounds. He fingered idly at a necklace of sharks teeth around his neck, apart from himself the only thing left of his tribe.

Images flashed back to him of that day during the rebellion.... betrayal, a bloody massacre, men women and children dead everywhere and the smell of burning in his nostrils as he stood alone, a dozen dead enemy soldiers killed by his bare hands.

He snapped back to the present. He couldnt even remember how long he had been here, wherever here was. After that day all he did was fight. Fight for whoever paid him. He'd fought in many rings, he'd bled in many rings.

He knew two things now though.
Although he hadnt fought since coming to this place he would one day. He had struggled with this idea of holding an opponent down while someone counted to three. Why three? Why not just put them down permanently? But that was the rules so he had to obey.

He also knew there was a revolution coming. He knew about revolutions, hed been in one. He knew people always needed more fighters on their side.
He was a fighter, thats all hed ever known.
All he had to do now was wait because someone, some day, from either side would want him to fight again.

Thats what The Headhunter did.
