Re: Story behind site names
Tim was my birthname given to me by my mother and father. I was still in the womb the name was decided on but from what I understand Timothy was chosen as it was my father's middle name. My last name LaFave, which I thought had French-Canadian origins is actually just French.
Finally my most common e-moniker. Byoubyanese.
I decided on this name when I was but a young tot, much like many people's username/GTs and everything else. But, the origin is at least interesting.
Byou <- Spelled incorrectly because I was 8 at the time of conception. (Bye-You; some times confused as Bee-You) was created from one of the more obscure Courage the Cowardly Dog villains. He was a Louisiana bayou snake.
After googling it it appears his name was Big Bayou
I was fascinated at the effeminate way he said the word "Bayou" and everything else, so I was like. That a cool world. Creating the misspelled "Byou"
Here he is. (Starts at 5:56)
Now for Byanese. No idea. I was a pseudo weeb back as a child and so I thought I wanna do an alliteration but keep some of that weeb sauce. So Byanese, I think, is my attempt at making an Asian language for a name.
The result
Byoubyanese (Bye-You-Bye-uh-knees)
There you have it.

Re: Story behind site names
I had many names. Usually I just go by a character's name such as Ragin' Rick, Ugly Fat Fuck (as most know me from elsewhere), and Rage.
I was even heckling Batman for a while out of sheer boredom by intimating his username for a while.

Re: Story behind site names
In school me and my banterous friends thought we would come up with some top nicknames for each other to keep the banter flowing like we keep the cold ones cracking. My nickname was Barney, because I used to do a pretty good impression of that friendly dinosaur.
After a couple of months a couple of my wisecracking top lad mates realised that a character from the simpsons was also called Barney (Gumble) so people started calling me that instead, when choosing a gamertag for Xbox Live I thought 'Hey, why not be a absolute bantersaurusrex and fuse the two together, creating 'Gumblesaur'.
