4th Annual Cyborg Invitational

A video uploaded to the CMV website immediately following Point Break shows Genesis general manager, Cass LaFave, sat behind her desk with a big old smile across her face. From the title of said video, everyone knows just what this announcement is regarding: the yearly Cyborg Invitational, a round robin tournament that pits usually between eight and ten superstars against each other for the opportunity of a lifetime, to go down in the record books, and most of all, to get a shot at the World championship. This year, Genesis will play host to the time-honored battle of the best, Cass taking a deep breath in and out before beginning her planned rundown.

Ladies and gentleman of the CMV universe, as you can obviously tell, this video has to do with the 4th Annual Cyborg Invitational! This year it'll be my honor to have it hosted on my show and with my TOP talent, because the boys of Genesis are unparalleled and that's a simple fact, but if you need any proof than look no further than the SIX men I'm about to announce who will partake in this year's tournament! Now before we get to that, for those who may be new to the show, the Cyborg Invitational is a round robin tournament, meaning that every competitor, in this year's case the chosen six, will all face each other over the course of the next few months, that's FIFTEEN matches in total! And whomever cones out ahead with the most wins by the end of it all, will get the honor of going down in the history books and more than that, earn themselves a CMV Alpha World championship match! While those who place in second, third and fourth, will compete in a wicked game of Feast or Fired, which entails three briefcases being laid out in front if them, inside of one: a midcard title shot. In the second: a Tag Team championship opportunity. But in the last: a PINK SLIP! Who gets which one is unknown, it's just like Cyborg himself, he can be so sweet at times, and then a real son of a gun at other points. So now that we all are acquainted with the rules, let's get to why we're all really here: who are the selected six? They are... ELIJAH STEWART! ... JOSH WOLF! ... RHYS MATTHEWS! ... ADAM VALENTINE! ... DULE ZAIRE! ... AND REECE ORTIZ! And the games begin, folks, on the next episode of Genesis!
