The First Battle Empty The First Battle

Post by Mr. Dashing Sun May 06, 2018 11:23 pm

Pierre Thompson stands tall after ravaging Andrew Briggs to pick up the win here at Emergence. He stands atop the turnbuckles looking down at Briggs who still is hardly moving, being helped up by the referee ... In an instant a wave of cheers washes over the CMV universe perplexing Pierre, but it doesn't take long for him to realize just what they're popping about, as from behind he's taken down out of the corner and is face to face with Josh Wolf who is backed by Jon Reed and Sam Valentine ...

Thompson sees that the odds are against him but Josh doesn't make a move interestingly enough, perhaps his history with The Big Dog being a part of The Resistance against Kliq is forcing him to show mercy ... But suddenly Wolf is blindsided when Briggs rushes the ring and kicks him right upside the head, prompting Reed and Valentine to pounce on him ... Pierre may not like Andrew and may have just got done beating his ass but he'll be damned if Team Genesis comes into his house and throws shots ...

He grabs Josh and tosses him to the outside where he then slams him into the security wall three times, his back making a horrid sound as it smashes against the barricade again and again. In the ring Briggs sends Jon stumbling back with an elbow to the jaw but Sam then kicks him in the gut, Reed falling back in so that the two can get the edge over their foe, stomping him down and then seeing that Josh is in trouble, leaving Andrew to go help. They rip Pierre off of their captain and throw him back into the ring, Wolf shakes his head and smiles following after them with devious intentions ...

Sam lifts Thompson up, holding his arms back to allow Reed to hit away at his stomach with lefts and rights, Josh pushing Briggs under the bottom rope when the PA system turns up with Hayden's theme song ...

Fusion's team captain comes out from the back, at the top of the stage he meets eyes with Josh for maybe a solid ten seconds, you can tell that the animosity between them is at a peak, Kiteley then makes off down the ramp, but is stopped cold in his tracks when Guri Sukanov comes out from the crowd and stations himself in front of the ring ... The fans roar as Hayden swallows and nods his head, cracking his neck and then rushing The Russian Ogre but it's akin to running full force at a brick wall, Guri grabs him by the neck and tosses him easily into the ring apron with a cring-inducing thud.

Sukanov laughs while Josh smiles bright, his team is dominating Fusion on their home turf. Then, the lights go down, the music begins softly, and from the back emerges The Scotsman, Jacob Ziegler ...

The crowd goes nuts and Guri is distracted by his arrival with Jacob cockily waving at him, allowing Hayden to gather himself and LOW BLOW HIM ... The Big Man falls hard, no matter your size and strength a shot to the nuts is a shot to the nuts, and then this all takes Josh, Jon and Sam's attention away long enough for Briggs to roll back into the ring, helping up Pierre and together they attack from behind ... Ziegler has now made it to the bottom of the ramp where he and Hayden come head to head, after a moment of intensity following their heated back and forth at the start of this season they shake hands firmly, then going to join the fight in the ring. Jon is the first to be taken out when in the corner he's smashed by Andrew's VINTAGE Shining Wizard, he pulls him out by the arm but instead of his usual clothesline that follows he tosses Reed over to Pierre who hits him flat with The Highlight ...

Now it's The Dream's turn, Andrew picks him up and brings him over to Hayden who pats him on the back, then the team captain smirks at Ziegler, who with a cheeky grin runs off of the ropes, full force and connects firm with a Claymore to the temple of Valentine ... All that is left now is Josh Wolf, he gets up to his knees and notices that he's totally surrounded by Team Fusion, this attack was a wrong move and now he knows that he's going to pay the price for it. But if he's going down he's going down swinging, he strikes up at Andrew clipping his jaw and even manages to get a kick off at Hayden but the numbers game quickly overtakes him, The Big Dog catching him with a punch to the back of the head, Ziegler then kneeing him in the midsection setting him up for Briggs who gets payback with a swift superkick right up under the jaw ...

Wolf is barely conscious, grabbing at Hayden's boots as there's no give in him. Kiteley places a hand on his chin and winks, lifting him up to his feet and slamming him down to the canvas with a thunderous Final Cut, probably the best that Hayden has ever hit and with authority... The A-Lister again hoists him up but this time only to toss him over the top rope to join his team on the outside of the ring, a heap of bodies at the end of the ramp ... Hayden looks at his team and nods, he's picked wisely, but this is only the first of many battles with the war coming to a head at Home Coming 3, the struggle for brand supremacy continues ...
