*It is moments after Ace Reeves’ match with Schmidty at Ascendance, an interviewer catches Reeves just as he is about to head home*

Interviewer: Reeves a moment please

*No response as Reeves keeps walking with a defeated look*

Interviewer: Please Reeves....

Ace Reeves: ...well I have nothing better to do now so I guess I can give you a few minutes...

Interviewer: Reeves, how are you holding up after what just happened?

Ace Reeves: I....I failed....

Interviewer: No, com...

Ace Reeves: No, I FAILED! The whole Crossfire locker room looked up to me, they believed in me and I betrayed that trust. I was supposed to be a leader but I’m not that, I’m just a small guy sliding in shoes too big to handle... and now I’m out of a job, no, I have to stop doing what I love because of it.

*The interviewer is left speechless, never hearing Reeves like this before*

Ace Reeves: What, is reality shocking? All this time I’ve lived in a fantasy world and I took all of the CMV Universe with me and for that... I apologize. I apologize for breaking a promise I made to this locker room to keep it safe. I apologize to all of the CMV fans who I disappointed tonight and I apologize to.... I apologize to Schmidty.... you were right but I was too blind to see it.

Interviewer: ...wh...whats next for Ace Reeves if you don’t mind me asking?

Ace Reeves: ...I don’t know... I don’t know who I am anymore to be honest but hopefully this wakeup call will open my eyes.

*Reeves takes in one last defeated breath*
